Remember folks, you can't afford to be an idealist in a world like this one, where there is no longer a social contract. At this point until conditions improve, do whatever you have to in order to get by that doesn't involve totally screwing over other people. You try to participate in good faith, and all the rest of the world does is take take take take take from you, and kick you down. Operating on idealism in a world like this one will just lead to you being chewed up and spit out by this uncaring machine.
