The result was total bloodbath for Lin. A wise man would have realized he didn’t have the influence to affect Tesla’s stock price. An empathetic man would have felt bad for the individual investors that trusted him and dumped their Tesla stocks. Tesla doubled in the three months following Lin’s unsolicited social media advice. I’d bet he held those TSLA stocks for another year until the stock price hit its ceiling. No harm, no foul for Lin. His followers though, I bet they wish they didn’t listen to the 🤡
