| 5 | We do not struggle with anyone over a country or a city. Rather, we have resolved to raise the banner of ‘There is no god but Allah’ over the lofty peaks of dignity and honor.
O my sons in the Basij, and O the forces of the people, beware of expressing sorrow over the loss of a particular position, or becoming elated and joyful over gaining a certain place. None of these things is truly worth mentioning, just as this entire worldly life is insignificant compared with the Hereafter.

| 8 |  When I see on television these respected women who are engaged in supporting and assisting the army and the armed forces, I feel a deep appreciation for them in my heart, an appreciation that I cannot feel in the same way for anyone else.
🔹 The work they are doing is not motivated by any expectation of receiving a position, holding an office, or asking anything from the people. None of these matters are involved. Rather, they are unknown and selfless soldiers who, on the front lines, must be regarded as engaged in jihad.

| 9 | فَاسْتَقِمْ كَمَا أُمِرْتَ
“So remain steadfast as you have been commanded.”
▪️ Imam Khomeini (r.a.):
“The Noble Messenger of Allah ﷺ, despite being the highest of all beings and the greatest in steadfastness, and regarding Imam Ali (a.s.), it has been narrated that whenever we faced intense pressure during battles, we would seek refuge in the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
Yet, at the same time, the Almighty Allah says:
فَاسْتَقِمْ كَمَا أُمِرْتَ
‘Remain steadfast as you have been commanded.’
He commands you to stand firm. Do not let anything cause you to slip or deviate.
And when it comes to the command that you and your community remain steadfast, the Prophet ﷺ said:
“This verse has made me grow old.”
