At the same time, multiple private channels are reportedly seeing fake or inactive subscribers being added without any promotion, invites, or other known activity from the admins.

🇹🇬BREAKING: ENTIRE BLOCKCHAIN HALTED AFTER $75M HACK
A hacker reportedly drained an estimated $75 million from Tectonic, a crypto lending protocol on the Cronos blockchain.
The attacker allegedly manipulated Tectonic’s token price by nearly 100×, then used the inflated value as collateral to borrow real assets.
In response, Cronos halted the entire network to prevent further movement of the stolen funds. Reports indicate only around $6 million had reached Ethereum before the halt.

Tonkeeper is reportedly preparing to rebrand as Keeper and transition into a multi chain wallet, allowing users to manage assets across TON, TRON, Bitcoin, Arbitrum, Base, and more from a single wallet.
However, the wallet’s official name remains Tonkeeper for now. The Keeper branding has only appeared on the official website, tonkeeper.com, and the rebrand has not yet been rolled out across all platforms.

🇹🇬 BREAKING: Blackhat Allegedly Linked to a New Wave of X Accounts Being Hacked
The latest wave of X account hacks appears to have possible links to activity surrounding Blackhat ( A GROUP ), where individuals allegedly involved in fraud and account takeovers seem to be communicating and working together.
A post from the username reportedly offered $35,000 in XMR for 2FA removal on X. Around 40 minutes later, the NVIDIA X account was reportedly hacked.

🇹🇬 BREAKING: Instagram “Secret Reveal” Scam Collects $1M+
Reportedly, an Instagram account named 25 August 2026 gained around 426K followers by teasing a “big secret reveal.” Followers were redirected to Telegram and asked to pay ₹502 (5 USDT) before midnight on August 25. Around 166K people reportedly paid, generating approximately ₹8.03 Crore ($1M+). The account ultimately posted only a basic AI-generated motivational video saying “time is more important.”

🇹🇬 UPDATE: Meta Reaches $16.68 Billion Settlement
Meta Platforms agreed to pay a maximum $16.68 billion as part of a settlement to resolve claims brought by states across the country that the company designed Facebook and Instagram to addict children, misled consumers about their safety, and improperly collected personal data of children who used its platforms.
The settlement was reached during a California federal trial over claims brought by 29 states, averting one of the highest-profile tests yet of allegations that social media companies harmed young users.
Meta also agreed to make changes for teenage users of Facebook and Instagram nationwide, including daily usage limits and nighttime blocks.
