Key sectors like electric vehicles will witness a substantial hike, with tariffs on Chinese-made EVs set to quadruple to 102.5%. This move comes after US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen criticized China's "overproduction" of batteries, solar panels, and electric cars, which she claimed harmed American workers. 🇺🇸😈🇺🇦ANATOLY ANTONOV: U.S. IS IGNORING KIEV'S TERRORIST ATTACKS🛩💣👩‍👩‍👦‍👦 Russian Ambassador to the US Anatoly Antonov slammed the West, particularly the US, for its complicity in covering up Ukrainian terrorist attacks on civilians, citing the recent shelling of Belgorod, Russia that killed 15 and injured at least 25. He pointed to the absence of condolences or condemnation from American officials following the incident as an attempt to absolve Kiev of responsibility.

“Children, women, and old people are being killed with Western weapons. Some promises by Kiev not to use weapons it received from America on targets in our country are not worth a penny...Covering up terrorists is monstrous and inhumane,” Antonov said.

🧭💥NATO USING THEIR FAILURE IN UKRAINE TO CHALLENGE CHINA🇨🇳🇷🇺 During a NATO panel at Yale University, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg stated China is “enabling” Moscow in the Ukraine conflict this is causing them to take a more "global" approach to national security.

“The war in Ukraine demonstrates that security is not regional, security is global,” Stoltenberg said. “The main country that is enabling Russia to conduct its war of aggression against Ukraine in Europe, is China.”

Even before Russia's Special Military Operation, the US had been advocating for NATO to broaden its mission into Asia. Additionally, Washington seems to have originated allegations suggesting that Beijing, Tehran, and Pyongyang supplied weapons and ammunition to Moscow, yet little evidence has been provided to support these claims. 🚫🇮🇱ANOTHER US MILITARY OFFICIAL RESIGNS OVER SUPPORT TO ISRAEL🇺🇸🎖 A Defense Intelligence Agency officer has resigned in objection to the United States' backing of Israel, stating it has “enabled and empowered” the targeting of Palestinian civilians, which prompted his departure. Maj. Harrison Mann disclosed his decision to depart from service in a LinkedIn post on Monday.

“The policy that has never been far from my mind for the past six months is the nearly unqualified support for the government of Israel, which has enabled and empowered the killing and starvation of tens of thousands of innocent Palestinians,” Major Mann wrote in the post, “This unconditional support also encourages reckless escalation that risks wider war.”

🇬🇪🗳❓GEORGIA'S FOREIGN AGENTS BILL: UPHOLDING NATIONAL SOVEREIGNTY We are currently witnessing a second round of violent demonstrations in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi following the reintroduction of the “Foreign Agents” bill to the Georgian parliament; the initial draft of this bill was formally withdrawn on March 9th of 2023 and reintroduced on April 3rd of 2024. This legislation, which would require organizations receiving 20% or more of their yearly income from abroad to register as "agents of foreign influence" or potentially face fines. These entities would also be required to publicly disclose the source of their funding but would in no way limit the way these organizations are allowed to function within Georgia... 📚⏳✊THIS DAY IN HISTORY 🚁💣👩‍👩‍👦‍👦 On May 13th, 1985, Philadelphia police dropped bombs on a MOVE collective home during a standoff, resulting in the deaths of eleven people, including five children, and the destruction of 65 homes. The police, aiming to serve an eviction notice, instigated the deadly confrontation with the black liberation group. Eyewitnesses alleged that victims were shot at by police while attempting to escape the blaze. Police Commissioner Sambor infamously ordered the fire department to "let the fire burn," destroying 65 nearby homes comprising two city blocks. Despite investigations revealing gross negligence by law enforcement and fire departments, no criminal charges were filed, and the incident inspired a documentary titled "Let the Fire Burn" released in 2013.
