Our first guest is the White Hall, the very heart of Polytech 🤍 📍Polytechnicheskaya St., 29, The Main Building Step inside the stunning White Hall, one of the most beautiful ceremonial halls. For over 115 years, it has been at the center of university and city life, bringing together literature, music, science, and technology. The White Hall has been a living chronicle of cultural life, hosting musical and theatrical projects, philharmonic concerts, educational programs, and initiatives that promote music and the arts. Here, you can experience the cultural highlights of the season!

February Holidays: how do we study, work and relax ahead of February 23? On February 23, Russia celebrates Defender of the Fatherland Day. This year the holiday falls on a weekend, so there are a few changes to the work and study schedule. 📣 Справочная информация: Ассоциация индонезийских студентов в России «PERMIRA» основанная в 1998 году, объединяет около 800 студентов через 15 региональных отделений. Её ключевые цели: – защита прав студентов, – развитие человеческого капитала, – укрепление российско-индонезийского студенческого сотрудничества. Для этого ассоциация реализует стратегические проекты: от адаптации первокурсников и образовательных семинаров до карьерных тренингов и программ общественной дипломатии. Главными партнёрами стали Посольство Индонезии, Русский домом в Джакарте, Всемирной ассоциацией индонезийских студентов, научными и бизнес-сообществами из обеих стран. «PERMIRA» не только оказывает поддержку студентам, но и способствует увеличению правительственной квоты на обучение в России. Петербургское отделение «PERMIRA St. Petersburg» объединяет на данный момент 113 студентов и реализует проекты совместно с городскими властями и организациями, включая празднование Дня независимости Индонезии, первый Симпозиум «PERMIRA» и участие в социально значимых мероприятиях. Semoga sukses dan tercapai visi, misi dan target program kerjanya serta selalu menjadi inspirasi bagi seluruh masyarakat Indonesia di St. Petersburg! 📣Informasi umum: Perhimpunan Mahasiswa Indonesia di Rusia (PERMIRA), yang didirikan pada tahun 1998 dengan menyatukan sekitar 800 mahasiswa melalui 15 perwakilannya. Meet Atonfak Donfak Etienne Gaetan, a graduate from Gabon! 🇬🇦 He shares a sincere perspective on the academic rigor and support at our university: "The university is strong but demanding. If you fail your exams, you can be expelled, even if you pay for your studies. The teachers were understanding: if something was unclear because of the language, they stayed after class and explained it in English. My most vivid memories are of defending my thesis. There were only three of us in the department, but the commission evaluated our work."

His story highlights the challenging standards, the dedicated support from professors, and the triumph of a successful defense.
