Dollar at 3-Month High as Traders Pare Near-Term Rate Cut Wagers

The U.S. dollar hit a 3-month high as traders reduced expectations of a near-term Federal Reserve rate cut. Markets now see about 65% odds of a December cut, down from nearly 94% a week ago. Fed Chair Jerome Powell signaled the latest rate cut might be the last for this year, causing investors to adjust positions. The euro and yen weakened, while the Australian dollar fell after the RBA kept rates steady. 📈 Stronger dollar = reduced rate-cut hopes and higher global currency pressure. Source: Reuters
