🎙 Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova’s comment regarding Kiev regime’s terrorist attacks on Russian regions 💬 On May 16 and 17, the Kiev neo-Nazi regime used fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles and unmanned speedboats to launch another massive attack on Crimea, the Krasnodar Territory and other Russian regions. Russian air defence forces destroyed and intercepted more than 100 UAVs (51 over the Crimean Peninsula, 44 over the Krasnodar Territory, six over the Belgorod Region, and one over the Kursk Region). The Black Sea Fleet naval aviation and patrol boats destroyed six unmanned speedboats. Earlier this week, Russian Defence Ministry reported the destruction of 20 US-made ATACMS operational-tactical missiles, over 130 missiles, including US-made HIMARS and Czech-made Vampire, over 20 French-made Hammer guided bombs, and four British-made Storm Shadow cruise missiles. These barbaric attacks with the use of Western-made weapons are clearly backed by the US and British curators overseeing Zelensky’s regime. They go beyond supplying it with ever longer-range missiles and heavy weapons and now authorise their use against Russia, further escalating the conflict. This Banderite clique seems to have come to believe in its own impunity amid the Western emissaries’ frequent visits to Kiev lately. ❗️ Once again, we would like to issue a stark warning to Washington, London, Brussels and other Western capitals, as well as Kiev which is controlled by them, that they are playing with fire. Russia will not leave unanswered these acts of aggression against its territory.

🗓On April 26, Saint Petersburg 🇷🇺 hosted the 20th ASEAN-Russia Senior Officials' Meeting (#ARSOM). 🔹️The meeting was co-chaired by the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation H.E. This partnership can certainly set an example of ties between neighbouring states. Key talking points: • This state visit takes place in the year of the 75th Anniversary of our diplomatic relations. Our country was the first to recognise the People’s Republic of China on October 2, 1949, the day after its declaration. • I want to note the significance of the Joint Statement we have adopted, which sets new objectives and long-term directives for advancing the entire spectrum of Russian-Chinese relations. 📈 In 2023, bilateral trade surged by a quarter, reaching a new milestone of $240 billion, as reported by Chinese statistics. Ahead of the talks, President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping offered an official welcome ceremony to President of Russia Vladimir Putin, during which the two Leaders introduced their delegations. Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping held a conversation at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, followed by expanded Russian-Chinese consultations. Посол А.В.Павловский сердечно приветствовал соотечественников, в том числе прибывших из Сиднея и Мельбурна, сотрудников Посольства и членов их семей, представителей австралийской общественности. В ходе торжественного построения «Бессмертного полка» участники поделились рассказами о своих близких, отстоявших свободу и независимость Родины в борьбе с нацизмом. Самодеятельные артисты выступили с концертом, для детей была организована викторина по истории Великой Отечественной войны, проведена игра «Зарница». Гости по достоинству оценили блюда полевой кухни. Программа мероприятия была дополнена показом документального фильма «Встреча на Эльбе» и творческим вечером, посвященном 100-летию Б.Ш.Окуджавы. Большое впечатление на всех произвела фотовыставка «Без срока давности» о преступлениях германских нацистов и их пособников на оккупированых территориях Советского Союза, предоставленная Обществом «Знание» по инициативе Молодежного совета.
