The Missed Hug
A father dropped his son at school every day.
One morning, the father said,
“Can I have a hug before you go?”
Embarrassed in front of his friends, the son replied,
“Dad, not here.”
The father smiled and said,
“Okay, son.”
That evening, the father met with an accident.
The next day, standing beside his father’s hospital bed, the son held his hand and whispered,
“Dad, here’s that hug.”
But this time, his father couldn’t hug him back.
Never be too busy or too grown up to show love to your parents. One day, you’ll wish for just one more hug.
