When the sun rose this morning, the rays bounced around and chased each other across the frost covered landscape, creating a mesmerizing winter wonderland. The temperature was -8 and I nearly froze myself while galavanting around the countryside capturing images. I may have filled my boots with snow when I blissfully stepped off the edge of the road to get closer to the yellow birdhouse in the first photo. Let’s just say the ditch was rather deep and steep at that spot. =) We only get frost like this once or twice a year, so I was excited to capture some of the fleeting

Schoenbrunn Village Lantern Tours 2025
Schoenbrunn was founded in 1772 as a Moravian mission among the Delaware Indians and was the first Christian settlement in Ohio. It was abandoned in 1777 due to pressure from encroaching settlers and British-aligned Indians.
