Practice reported speech using comics, making all the necessary changes to the sentences.
After the students have completed this task, give them small pieces of paper with clouds on them (they can easily and quickly draw their own clouds). Ask them to come up with and write down the phrases they use most often during their lessons or the most common thoughts that come to mind in different school subjects.
Then they can exchange these phrases and practice using reported speech again.

How to make spelling more fun and learning the key vocabulary more effective? The solution is simple - to involve students in the process of creating the tasks.
Children concentrate on spelling and remember the words better. They adore creating complicated tasks for their partners. The more difficult, the better! In addition, this is a great homework if you need your kids to prepare for the dictation or just repeat the words.
A small life hack: first have the students place the key words in the grid, and only then all the empty squares are filled with any other letters.

Checkers 5in1 PowerPoint Presentation includes 5 boards with which your students can work out various vocabulary (animals, appearance, professions, food and action verbs), as well as revise and consolidate a huge number of grammar constructions.
The game can be both used online and offline.
The rules are easy! To make a move, the player must name what is in the square, or make up a sentence with this word/picture. If the answer is correct, the player moves to the checker, if incorrect, it remains on the spot and the opponent moves.
The detailed rules you will find in the help section (?).

Teach farm and wild animals to curious kids using shadows.
Read all the words in the word box all together. Then, in pairs, the kids write numbers next to the words, help each other, and check. Next, each student works independently and writes short sentences with the grammar structure which you practice.
This could be: It is/ There is/ Billy has got/ A rooster lives on the farm/ A pig is the second, etc.
Return to the same task for the next lesson. The children are now practicing speaking in pairs or mini groups. One person sees the entire worksheet, and the others bend their sheets so that only the picture remains.
The leader asks: What is number 3? The rest must find the animal in the picture and name it. Whoever named it correctly first gets a point. Then they swap roles.
You can work with wild animals in the same way.

Let's starting the new year from scratch, or rather anew calendar. And not just a calendar, but a calendar where every day is a holiday!
In addition to the fact that this is a cool unusual decoration for your classroom, it can be used to arouse curiosity and make even the most silent students talk, devoting a few minutes at the beginning or at the end of the lesson to discussing the holiday, what it is dedicated to, how it is celebrated, what costumes and treats could be, etc.

Mmmmm, wouldn't it be nice to open a jar of raspberry jam in the winter and spread it on fresh, crispy bread? It's a sweet treat that brings back warm memories of summer and the process of making the jam.
Winter doesn't offer us many berries, but we can create a similar "winter jam" by dreaming and filling a jar with wishes and goals for the upcoming year. At the end of December, we can "open the jar" and discuss what has come true and what can be transferred to a new jar.

This creative task is suitable for the last lessons of the year or the first ones after the vacations with students of various ages and levels. All they need to do is to complete the sentences by adding their own ideas.
How to use:
- Pair Discussion

- "Find someone who wants to..."
A mingling activity that not only enhances communicative skills but is also a great way for students to get to know each other better and exchange ideas.
- Collective Planning
Students can create a shared plan or a list of goals for the class/group, that will foster unity and teach them to work together.

Often, when writing, children mirror letters, do not complete them, or add extra elements. To prevent this, teach them to distinguish between correct and incorrect spellings using simple tasks.
This time, ask young learners to help young mushroom pickers collect only the "right" mushrooms.

Ho-ho-ho! It's time to revise the degrees of comparison by practicing the rules with your favourite Christmas characters.
The students look at the table and choose who they want to compare the character with, using the comparative or superlative degree and also using the opposites. They can compare the main character with any other character or two, so it's a good opportunity to review and practice as ... as/not as ... as.

Practice matching personal pronouns and possessive adjectives.
The rules are simple: you just need to direct the puck to the part of the hockey goal where there is a match (I - my). If the answer is correct, then the goal is scored! If not, try again until the puck gets there.

Family Tree Poster to refresh the key vocabulary. By describing the characters, students will remember or revise some important and useful grammar structures (has got, hasn't got/can, can't/ likes, doesn't like, etc.), refresh the use of the possessive case and related words from different topics (countries, nationalities, hobbies, preferences, personal belongings, and pets).
In addition, the poster can be used for various useful games:
- one student thinks of a character, and the other asks general questions. Then they switch roles. Here they drill questions and short answers.
- one student describes everything they can say about the character, and the other listens and guesses.A great practice for the 3rd person singular.
- based on this poster, children draw their own and tell about their families.
