Here is a short story with a beautiful message... Little girl and her father were crossing a bridge. The father was kind of scared so he asked his little daughter, 'Sweetheart, please hold my hand so that you don't fall into the river.' The little girl said, 'No, Dad. You hold my hand.' 'What's the difference?' Asked the puzzled father. 'There's a big difference,' replied the little girl. 'If I hold your hand and something happens to me, chances are that I may let your hand go. But if you hold my hand, I know for sure that no matter what happens, you will never let my hand go.' In any relationship, the essence of trust is not in its bind, but in its bond. So hold the hand of the person who loves you rather than expecting them to hold yours... ❤️ This message is too short......but carries a lot of Feelings.

🙊THE POWER OF SILENCE 🙊 Once a farmer lost his precious watch while working in his barn. It may have appeared as an ordinary watch to others, but held a deep sentimental value for it. After searching high and low among the hay for a long time, the old farmer got exhausted. The tired farmer did not want to give up the search for his watch and requested a group of children playing outside the barn to help. He promised an attractive reward for the person who can find his beloved watch. After hearing about the reward, the children hurried inside the barn and went through and round the entire stack of hay to find the watch. After a long time looking for a watch in the hay, some of the children got tired and gave up. The number of children looking for the watch slowly decreased and only few tired children were left. The farmer gave up all his hope to find the watch and called off the search. Just when the farmer was closing the door, a little boy came up to him and requested the farmer to give him another chance. The farmer did not want to miss any chance of finding the watch so let the little boy in the barn. After a w little while the little boy came out with the watch in his hand. The farmer was happily surprised and asked how the boy succeeded to get the watch while everyone including him  had failed. The boy replied “ I just sat there tried listening to the ticking of the watch. In silence, it was much easier to listen to it and direct the search in the direction of the sound.” The farmer was delighted to get the watch and rewarded the little boy as promised. A peaceful mind can think better than a worked up mind. Once in a while allow a few minutes of silence to your mind. Sometimes all you need is to do is relax and listen.

Laziness won’t get you anywhere “In ancient times, a king had his men place a boulder on a roadway. He then hid in the bushes, and watched to see if anyone would move the boulder out of the way. Some of the king’s wealthiest merchants and courtiers passed by and simply walked around it. Many people blamed the King for not keeping the roads clear, but none of them did anything about getting the stone removed. One day, a peasant came along carrying vegetables. Upon approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to push the stone out of the way. After much pushing and straining, he finally managed. After the peasant went back to pick up his vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in the road where the boulder had been. The purse contained many gold coins and note from the King explain that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the road.” Use in essays -- where action is important / Duty is important Pyqs 1.Life is long journey between human being and being humane 2. The Golden Swan Once upon a time, there was a swan / goose that had striking golden feathers. This swan lived in a pond. There was a house near this pond, where a poor woman lived with her two daughters. The people were really poor and were leading a tough life. The swan found that the poor mother was passing a hard time with her daughters. The swan thought, “If I give them one after another my golden feathers, the mother can sell them. She and her daughters can live in comfort with the money raised from it”. After thinking this, the swan flew away to the poor woman’s house. On seeing the swan inside the house, the woman said,” Why have you come here? We have nothing to offer you”. The Swan replied, “I have not come to take anything, but I have something to give you. I know your condition. I will give my golden feathers one by one and you can sell them. With the money raised through it, you people can easily live in comfort”. After saying this, the swan shed one of her feathers and then flew away. This became a regular feature and from time to time, the swan came back and every time left another feather. Like this, the mother and her daughters were happily leading their life by selling the feathers of the golden swan. Each golden feather got them enough money to keep them in comfort. But the mother became greedy to get all the feathers as soon as possible. One day, she said to her daughters, “Now, we will not trust this swan, possibly she may fly away and never come back. If this would happen, we will be poor again. We will take all of her feathers, when she will come the next time”. The innocent daughters replied, “Mother, this will hurt the swan. We will not cause any pain to her”. But the mother was determined to catch hold the swan the very next time she comes. Next time, when the swan came, the mother caught her and pulled out all of her feathers. Now, the golden feathers of the swan changed into some strange feathers. The mother was shocked to see such feathers. The Golden Swan said, “Poor Mother, I wanted to help you, but you wanted to kill me instead. As per my wish, I used to give you the golden feather. Now, I think there is no need to help you. Now, my feathers are nothing more than chicken feathers for you. I am going from this place and will never come back”. The mother felt sorry and apologized for the mistake committed by her. The Golden Swan said, “Never be greedy” and flew away. Excess greed brings nothing. ‼️Use in Climate change related essays

Story on Happiness A sage named Narada travels to find the happiest person in the world but fails to find one until he meets a poor farmer who is always content and happy despite his poverty.   Narada asked him to teach him how to be happy like him. The farmer then gave Narada a small bag of rice and told him to carry it on his back and walk around the village. Narada was confused but followed the farmer’s instructions. But the more he walked, the heavier the bag of rice became. Narada soon realized that the bag was becoming a burden, and he was starting to feel tired and unhappy. He went back to the farmer and told him about his experience. The farmer smiled and said, “Happiness is not about what you have or what you do. It’s about how you carry your burdens.”   Narada understood the lesson and realized that happiness is not something that can be found outside of oneself. It comes from within, from having faith, gratitude, and contentment, no matter what one’s circumstances may be. Pride hath a fall " or "Pride goes before a fall" is a paraphrase of an ancient Proverb, which warns that excessive pride will often cause one to fall or fail. Story-- In the play Julius Caesar, Caesar is a powerful conqueror who is to be crowned the king of Rome. He is a person who is not easily flattered. But still he has an imperious nature. He is over confident and convinces Calpurnia that he would be crowned that day, and would face anything, even death. He is also self centred. He was prideful and his "wisdom" was consumed in "confidence", as Calpurnia had said. His confidence was shattered when the conspirators stabbed him, and his heart broke when he saw his most trust-worthy friend Brutus stab him. He says his last words "et tu brute" and then dies. Even though he was such a great person, who fought many wars for Rome, his confidence in the wrong people and in excess amounts led to his downfall.
