Moon and sun aren't lovers, they're siblings in which sun burns so moon doesn't have to. Sun paves the way for moon, but in doing so makes them reliable on them. Moon thinks they're nothing if it wasn't for sun. Moon remained with earth, but never gave up on the light sun gave them.
