Soon, you’ll start loving yourself so much, you wouldn’t dare do the wrong activity. You wouldn’t need motivation anymore, because you’ll be driven by self-love.
STAY BASED

Let’s perform a small activity today
(Read further only when you have time to perform the activity)
Take out a piece of pen and paper, and follow the instructions below:
Write everything you do in a day. Your activities. Your habits. Your thoughts and emotions in different situations. Your excuses. Your state of mind. Write every damn thing.
Don’t rush the 1st step. Spend a minimum of 20 minutes.
Now, write the names of 20 people closest to you (in terms of your relation with them, and similarity in activities).
Alongside each name, write the activities they perform. The way they act. The impulses they showcase. And the place they have reached in their life.
Finally, compare your answers in step 1 to the answers in the last step.
Can you find any similarities?
If you are being true to yourself, and are like most people, then the answer is yes.
Now, be absolutely honest, and ask yourself, “Are these people anywhere close to the person I want to be?”
(Not just monetarily or socially. Rather, even spiritually, physically, emotionally, and mentally)
If the answer is “No”, then keep reading.
I want you to understand something here.
Right now, you have compared yourself to only 20 people. If you go further, you’ll be able to compare yourself to 200, and still find the similarities.
The same impulses, the same delusions, the same excuses, the same skills. The contexts might be different, but it’s all the same.
What does this mean for you?
You are 100% replaceable.
You can get kicked out of a job without a second thought. Because you are replaceable. You can be kicked out of a relationship without a second thought. Because you are replaceable.
The worst of all, you can replace yourself. Rather, you have replaced yourself. Because you are replaceable.
All the shitty activities you perform are a way to replace yourself.
If it makes little sense yet, I want you to brood over this.
You cannot enjoy your company. So, you enjoy the company of Netflix, pizza and porn. That’s what’s happening in your life right now.
If you were any different, you wouldn’t need to replace yourself. You would absolutely enjoy yourself. You would be joyful with your own company.
With time, this will only become worse. You’ll become further dependent and further mentally weak. Your system will collapse.
Might sounds harsh or too far-fetched, but it is true. I have been in that situation myself. And trust me, it’s not something you want to experience. At least not too late in life.
Look, I am not trying to motivate you. Motivation will not help you any further.
What I am showing you is the reality.
You might still make an excuse to not hit the gym. You might slip in a few bottles of coke. But one day, my friend, you won’t be able to come out.
And this is the truth.
Now, it’s upon you to either make a change or destruct yourself.
If you haven’t yet realized, this is the post on willpower I promised. There’s no other way to build your willpower other than realizing what’s necessary.
Motivation will only make you excited to work. But it’s only once you truly understand the need that you’ll take the step.
You can practice affirmations and positive self-talk, but nothing will work. They made those methods to sell you books and course, not to help you improve.
Though, this is not it. I want you to take a step further.
Go back to the step 1. inspect your current activities and habits. And research about it for days.
For instance, if you eat processed food, find out how it’s made. Find out how it affects your body. You should research so much that you develop a disgust towards it. You should absolutely hate it.
If you can’t do this, you’ll forever stay trapped under your excuses. And 1 day my friend, it will all end terribly for you.
So, fire up your laptop and start the research. Once you are done with it, start building your willpower like a muscle.
Every time you control your impulse, you strengthen it. Make it so strong that nothing can ever take control over you.

Read the comments carefully
You'll realize how many assumptions people make to validate the actions they are taking today

There's nothing more moronic than comparing life to a heartbeat
I have always said that it's absolutely stupid to compare life to anything. And out of all, heartbeat has to be the stupidest comparison.
According to the comparison, life has highs and lows like a heartbeat. And its okay to feel sad when you are in the low state.
Yo, that's not how life is.
Heartbeat goes up and down, because that's fucking how it's supposed to be.
You'll die if your heart beat goes in a straight line.
But you won't die if your life goes in a straight line.
Okay, yes, you'll die. But at the end of the line. Not because it's a fucking line.
Don't let such ridiculous comparisons make you justify feeling sad for prolonged periods of time. Which then leads to your laziness.
Avoid it at all costs.
Stay joyful. Always.
Maybe you felt sad in the past and wasted a lot of time. It's cool. You weren't aware in the past. But you are aware now.
If you are not aware, then wake the fuck up.
Stop unnecessarily feeling sad over every damn thing. Live your life joyfully.
Don't expect everything to go perfectly. Rather find your joy in imperfections, lessons and making everything perfect.
STAY BASED. GRAND RESTING.

If you want to fight negative thoughts from criticism (or other sources), fight it using positive thoughts.
Positive thoughts that last longer and are more powerful than usual.
If you try to stay joyful by buying something or eating something delicious, you'll fail. The joy will only be short lived.
But if you find something that gives you long lasting satisfaction, you'll easily be able to stay joyful and enjoy life.
For instance: Helping people, feeding stray animals, etc
The satisfaction you'll receive from such activities will be far more powerful than you can receive from anything else. They have the power to fight your negative thoughts
In general, humans get such satisfaction from helping someone or something, other than themselves. You can find something else that might be equally or more powerful.
PS: There are nuances to the words used. The same will be covered in future articles.

When people want compassion in life, they'll say God is compassion
When people want love in life, they'll say God is love
When people want justice in life, they'll say God is just
There are 3 major lessons for you here:
1. Don't get fooled by labels and don't fool yourself with it.
2. Avoid labeling things you don't know, else you'll never have the opportunity to truly understand it
3. Find the meaning behind your labels. Understand why you have the need to attach labels. In this case, it is the want for something else. Once you know what it is, take care of the real problem instead of attaching labels, or hiding the problem in various other ways.

Never be the person who does something with the assumption that it won't have consequences (or affect you)
Everything you'll ever do and everything you'll never do, have consequences
If consequences didn't exist, you would neither be able to decide what to do, nor decide what not to do
Your entire decision system is based upon consequences
Stop fooling yourself into believing consequences do not exist if you do something on a small scale
If you decide to fool yourself, that too will have consequences. It will have severe consequences.

Repost from Masculine Tribe
Never be too much available for anyone
You will never be respected no matter who you are.
Always keep yourself as your first priority.
Your choices, wishes and goals are more important than them.
Use most of your time to build your life.
If you are the guy who helps everyone.
You are fucked.

Most of your mental suffering comes from your thoughts and imaginations.
Your are stuck in your past (thoughts) and your future (imaginations)
You wanted certain event to happen in a certain way, and it didn't. And you want certain event to happen in a certain way. This leads you to a state of constant worry and negligible action.
How to escape the mental suffering?
For your past: Write all your thoughts down. Keep writing until everything that you are thinking of, is outside your head. Once your thoughts are written down, a large chunk of it will stop bothering you. For the remaining chunk, do 2 things
1. Start the process of acceptance. It won't happen all at once, but it will help you. Start accepting everything that happened.
2. Tag your thoughts "foolish". Consider your thoughts to be a math puzzle. How does a math puzzle feel once you have figured it out? It sounds stupid and foolish, and it stops bothering you. Do the same for your thoughts. Realize how foolish your thoughts and imaginations of the past were. They will stop bothering you.
For your future: Stop imagining every situation in your head. Again, you won't be able to stop it all at once, but you have to start. Instead of imagining everything in your head, start making more moves in life. The more you'll act, the less time you'll have to imagine stupid shit inside your head.

Marathon Post Day
Post 2
"Working with / changing your subconscious self image/beliefs"
What you think of yourself is a direct consequence of what you do when nobody is looking.
If you want to change how you see yourself, change what you do away from the public eye.
You want to respect yourself? Don't do anything that disrespects you/your body.
Want to love yourself? Take care of your body, stay away from people who despise you, unless business-wise. Don't seek closure from people who don't reciprocate.
These are all basic things that people ignore and end up with shitty lives and feeling terrible all the time.
Self image isn't something you materialize verbally or mentally, it's something you build gradually from your actions over time.
Once your self image changes, your beliefs change as a result.
Ex: If you previously thought that social interactions were hard (because you were timid and had low self esteem), you'll start to think that social interactions are easy once you gain self confidence.

Repost from Modern Mentalities
Marathon Post Day
Post 1:
"How to take action and capitalise on opportunities when they come, rather than waiting; could be related to developing a sense of urgency"
This points right back at the Death Meditation Philosophy I spoke about earlier on.
When you're at a car park going somewhere, you tend to pick the type of car you want, price that's comfortable for you, which route it takes, etc etc
However, one thing always changes the equation: How quickly you need to get where you're going?
If you're in a hurry you'll tend to pay more, enter more deteriorated cars, and agree to whatever terms they give... so you can meet up with your objectives and BE on time.
Same applies with life. The reason people don't seem in a hurry or act quickly and decisively is because they don't have a sense of WHEN they want certain things to have been done or achieved.
Everything can happen anytime.
I can be a millionaire by 30 or by 50, all the same, doesn't matter to them.
When you take charge and become the architect of your life, you'll know when things should have been done.
You'll have deadlines.
Having eyes peeled at all times and being extra attentive because of a need for speed, you won't let any opportunities pass you by. You'll seize every single one.

Happy Sunday Everyone
Today is a golden opportunity for you to change your life
While everybody will be wasting the day, you can get ahead and work towards the life of your dreams
I have repeatedly said that it's the most important to do what's necessary, when you just can't do it. That's how you build your willpower.
And starting on a Sunday is one of those moments. Everyone promises to start from Monday. But no-one will. Start today, and you'll win.
Since the next major article will be on willpower, let's start the process from today.
Comment something you have been planning on starting but haven't yet. And comment once again when you have completed the task.
I do not care if you continue doing the task everyday or not. But today. you will do it at any cost.
I have already started with something I have been postponing: Trading. Did intense research and selected the stocks for tomorrow.
Let me know what you'll be starting today
