Thursday (10.10.) it will be exciting, because then (the rest of) »Kirk« will hit us; the youngest offspring from the "artificial" womb of the Cape Verde Islands, where low pressure areas are currently being produced on an assembly line.
And now the only question is: what are they planning?
It will definitely be uncomfortable and there will be a good storm for a short time. However, it will gradually "weaken" on its way to us (as temperatures drop). The coastal areas will still get the most of it. If the Atlantic had reached 30° below it, we would really be shivering here. But it isn't! It is still too early to give the all-clear and many trees are still in full leaf. ...And we don't know whether they plan to blow it up into something even bigger? Microwave power makes it possible. Nobody will defuse it, I'll make a commitment to that. It will also be interesting to see how the "jet" reacts to it.
