Maybe watch the movie #2000Mules and update this item on your web page. Reality: Robust safeguards protect against tampering with ballots returned via drop box. Rumor: Drop boxes used by election officials to collect returned mail-in/absentee ballots can be easily tampered with, stolen, or destroyed. Get the Facts: Election officials utilize various safeguards to protect ballots returned by voters via drop boxes from being tampered with, stolen, or destroyed. Drop boxes located outdoors are typically made of heavy and high-grade metal, bolted to the ground, and include security features such as locks, tamper-evident seals, minimally sized ballot insertion slots, and fire and water-damage prevention features. Drop boxes located indoors are typically staffed and protected by existing building security measures. Many election offices monitor their drop boxes via 24-hour video surveillance. Ballots returned via drop box are retrieved by election officials or designated individuals, often in bi-partisan teams, at frequent intervals. Nobody is claiming the contents of the DROP BOX can be tampered with. We are saying the what is going into the DROPBOX is CRAP. Duh? Let me relate a personal story on the accuracy of the location services data available on your phone to all the #2000Mules Deniers and Debunkers. Several years ago, I lost my phone while out and about town. When I got home, I logged into my Google account and used Find My Phone. There was a map which clearly showed the days activities on a map. It also showed where I dropped my phone on the sidewalk in front of a store. It sat there for a few minutes, then started moving through town (not in my possession at that point) until this person drove out to the airport. They parked in a well know lot. I could see where abouts they parked. I drove out there and managed to find the exact parking spot where the car that had picked up my phone was located. I looked inside the car and there my phone was on the dashboard. I left a $20 taped to the window in an envelope with a note to return my phone and they eventually did. Bottom line is, the location service was accurate to the area of a parking spot.
