DIU CPC from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, DIU successfully organized an insightful webinar featuring Md. Majedul Islam and Rashik Shahriar Akash, former Vice Presidents of DIU CPC and current PhD students in Computer Science at Kennesaw State University, Georgia.
The webinar was honored by Dr. Arif Mahmud Sir (Associate Professor & Associate Head, Dept. of CSE) and Mayen Uddin Mojumdar Sir (Assistant Professor, Dept. of CSE & Convenor of DIU CPC). The session provided a simple guide to pursuing fully funded higher studies in the USA. The speakers shared tips on contacting professors, securing funding opportunities and preparing applications. They also discussed their experiences with research, visas and student life in the USA.

The event was honored by Mayen Uddin Mojumdar Sir (Assistant Professor, Dept. of CSE & Convenor of DIU CPC) and Md. Mizanur Rahman Sir (Lecturer (Senior Scale), Dept. of CSE & Co-Convenor of DIU CPC), along with our respected advisors, co-advisors, committee members, and dedicated volunteers. Through this visit, participants gained valuable insights into industry culture, workplace practices, emerging technology trends and the process of transforming ideas into real-world products. Through these sessions, students explored the fundamentals of research, research pipelines, basic Python and effective ways to read and understand research papers without feeling overwhelmed.
