Thousands of residents in Grindavik fled after an eruption cloud soared some 2.2miles (3.5km) in the sky as scorching molten lava violently burst from the ground.
Video from circling helicopters showed smoke billowing against the blue sky as a a thick fissure split the landscape in two. Nearby Blue Lagoon geothermal spa, Iceland's biggest tourist attraction known for its turquoise waters, said it had also evacuated its facilities on Wednesday.
The eruption was the fifth to occur on the peninsula since December. Eruptions then followed in January, February and March, with the March 16th eruption declared ended on May 9.

The golfer had been facing charges, including 3rd-degree criminal mischief, 2nd-degree assault of a police officer, reckless driving, and disregarding traffic signals from an officer directing traffic.
Jefferson County Attorney Mike O'Connell covered the actions of the officer, claiming it was "just a misunderstanding."
The golfer was in a marked PGA player vehicle, at the PGA Championship. The officer involved claimed he tried to stop the car and was dragged by the vehicle. The officer had turned off his body cam. Scheffler was then arrested on assault of a police officer. However, a nearby pole camera reportedly caught the officer in a COMPLETE LIE. Scheffler was then interrogated in the car. A recording of that interaction revealed the officer asking Scheffler leading questions and trying to get him to agree with him."
No word on any actions taken by the department against the officer.

While searching the backpacks, agents discovered that each contained firearms. Shocking and shameful is how some parents in California are describing a plea deal offered to 18-year-old Sebastian Villaseñor. The teen who is accused of planning a mass shooting at Ontario Christian High School.

"When we arrested Villaseñor at his residence, we collected numerous weapons: seven rifles, two revolvers, one handgun, and one shotgun. We also seized over a thousand rounds of ammunition," said Ontario Chief of Police Mike Lorenz.
Now, the San Bernardino district attorney has notified parents of a plea deal that includes no prison time and just 3 years of probation.

- Alvin Bragg originally declined to prosecute this case.
- The DOJ declined to prosecute this case.
- Then suddenly, Matthew Colangelo, made a strange downward career move, hopping from #3 at the DOJ to just another prosecutor job at the Manhattan DA's office. A few months later, the case against Trump abruptly rematerialized, with Biden’s man as lead prosecutor.
- The case hinges on an alleged federal election violation that has never been charged.
- The Democrat judge, Juan Merchan, has donated to Joe Biden.
- The Democrat judge's daughter, is a professional consultant for Democrats political campaigns, which have raised millions off this trial.
- The judge has repeatedly overruled defense objections while allowing the prosecution to run wild.
- The judge refused the testimony of an FEC official who would have testified that no federal election crime was committed.
- The judge has instructed the jury that they don't even have to unanimously agree on the underlying "felony" the prosecution is alleging Trump tried to conceal with the hush money to reach a conviction - outrageous!
- The prosecution's star witness, Michael Cohen, is on record saying he wants Trump in jail, is a convicted liar, and and was caught lying about a critical phone call on the stand in cross-examination.
- What's alleged to have happened, even if it was a crime, was all under the advice of counsel—Michael Cohen!
- We still don't know what the crime is!

28 ZERO PERCENT DOWN MORTGAGES RETURN, WHAT CAN GO WRONG?
It’s a perfect time to do something really stupid.
Morningstar reports One of the Biggest U.S. Lenders is Offering 0%-Down-Payment Mortgages for First-Time Home Buyers.
The program was launched by United Wholesale Mortgage, one of the largest U.S. mortgage lenders. The new program will be available to first-time home buyers and people earning at or below 80% of an area’s median income.
UWM (UWMC) will give eligible buyers a second-lien loan of up to $15,000, in the form of down-payment assistance, for 3% of the home’s purchase price. The loan will not accrue interest or require a monthly payment.
Biden also called on Congress to provide up to $25,000 in down-payment assistance to first-generation home buyers in his State of the Union Address. These blatant "vote buying" proposals are always at the expense of those who fall for the scheme.

30 KIM JONG UN SENDS HUNDREDS OF SH*T-FILLED BALLOONS INTO SOUTH KOREA
Hundreds of balloons were spotted on Wednesday, drifting into South Korean territory, some of them with the word "excrement" written on them.
This is because the balloons were loaded with feces and other rubbish as they drifted over the heavily fortified border. Seoul released photos of the aftermath of some balloons having popped on city streets. The South Korean government has gone so far as to deploy HAZMAT teams to deal with the clean-up.
North Korea’s Vice Minister of National Defense said this is a natural response to cross-border activities the North had already long been engaged in. "Scattering leaflets by use of balloons is a dangerous provocation." He charged South Korea with "psychological warfare."
Apparently, the Kim Jong Un government believes sh*t balloons are a natural response.
