Aver the Dorbley Art

Doing it early, but this is it. The FINAL art from the goo calendar. Thank you very much to everyone for participating and enjoying this silly little project. Lucky Crane....

My idea about a 13 year old girl who woke up as a different animal every day and had to deal with it, should have won dammit. The director of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 was a fool for not awarding me!

So I've mentioned the story before, but I was in this animation contest 10 years ago, where you did a series of challenges, participants were slowly eliminated and the winner would get their own cartoon TV show. I got 10th place, and sadly even the winners didn't even get a show. But one guy who just slapped something together last minute, was told after the first round to just drop out because one of the judges wanted to make his show, right then and there. So he skipped the whole contest and 10 years later he "wins." and the people that put in dozens if not hundreds of hours of work to do these challenges - got nothing. But I can't be too upset... I've worked with Joel and he's genuinely a great guy, friendly and super talented. He's been stuck making other people's stuff as the lead designer for like 20 years, so he finally has his own. I'm just, bleh... bitter my two ideas never won lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_rWRzEHSaw

I got something stupid for a warm up tomorrow. Who wants a free cameo (that hasn't got one before from me?)

All sketches today went loooong so I didn't get as many done as I often do. But... perhaps higher quality then?

Going to attempt to do a stream tomorrow. My back has been really killing me, but it miiiight be better tomorrow. We'll see how I feel after (hopefully) my last sleep in this shitty mattress
