Fame is a double-edged sword.
With recognition comes responsibility. When you are famous, for right or wrong, people look up to you for leadership, inspiration and even hope. But what you stand for may not be to everyones liking.
As an independent musician I have copped flak for speaking out about the scamdemic. Some radio DJs have stopped playing my music, fellow musicians have distanced themselves from me and venues I used to perform at regularly have made it clear I’m not welcome back. And for what? Speaking up about basic human rights. Standing up for the rights of our children to breathe freely, to move around this earth without restriction and to choose responsibility for our own health over government mandated medical interventions.
Sure, I imagine it is extremely hard for world famous musicians to risk alienating large chunks of their audience by taking a public stand for freedom; speaking out could cost them money. But not speaking out might cost them even more.
Freedom.
It’s a God given right to walk free on this earth.
No one has a right to take your freedoms away.

The little feet belong to our three-year-old, Ginger.
Yesterday we took her and her sisters from far north NSW to Surfers Paradise, just across the border in QLD. We thought it best to make the most of the opportunity, while the borders are open, to let the girls see where Mum and Dad and their Grandparents and so many relatives have, over generations, spent fun family holidays.
We keep a brave face around our children, and are in the process of moving to NSW to protect them from the growing hostility, anger and judgement—mostly from strangers wearing face masks—which has taken over much of Victoria. But it is hard to shield them from every perverse development during the scamdemic. Still, we do our best. And we take a day at a time, finding something beautiful, fun and uplifting to do every day; living life how it should be: as an adventure.
PS. Thanks for all your well wishes and support as we look for a new home to rent around Byron Bay, Mullumbimby or Myocum.

We went on a holiday to the northern rivers in NSW and had to extend it because Victoria closed the borders to residents returning, forcing people to quarantine and get tested for the virus that has never been isolated (with a test that can find anything it's looking for).
