Walked out of a business yesterday because they insisted we give them our personal details before we spent our money there. Yes, we could have given made up names and fake phone numbers but sometimes you just don’t want to be pushed into being deceitful, even if someone is bullying you and trying to enforce their Orwellian ‘rules’ on you. It feels good to stay in your integrity and simply walk away. But not before you’ve explained the illegality of any business attempting to force you to give personal details in this manner. First make sure they know they are being bullies. Make sure they know they are cowering at the feet of corrupt governments. Make sure they know you will not live in the fear they are projecting. After that, then walk away. In this way we can bring back freedom. #bringbackfreedom #freedom

I remember when mobile phones were invented. An actor mate had one of the first in his car. It made him seem so important to me. Oh well, we live and learn.

The truth is you don't have to sign in. Anywhere. Not for a coffee, not for lunch at the local Japanese restaurant and not to go to your local pub. You are a free living man or woman with inalienable rights. Got it? Good. Now, if someone asks you to sign-in at a shop or café or wherever, by scanning a QR code then filling in online forms to send your personal information to who-knows-whom you have a choice: Say no, or say no and show them this ‘Instagram sized' photo 'Business Owner Need To Know’. Download the picture above which has a QR code of its own and politely explain your rights. This QR code takes anyone who scans it to a website clearly explaining the law in Australia (which is also copied below). Basically it is an OFFENCE to discriminate against someone who chooses not to check in with their mobile device; an offence punishable by up to 5 years in jail and 300 'penalty units'.
