Are you okay? That’s a question we should ask more than once a year. It’s a question we should ask in our minds before even speaking to someone. “How is this person going today? How will they ‘take’ what I am about to say?” As I launched the Free The Nation ‘campaign’—or ‘movement’ or whatever you call it—this week I’ve had countless people comment with positive vibes and expressing hope and solidarity for a cause with a single goal: music without segregation. But some people have been triggered. Some people see anything that stands against the government or mainstream media as a challenge to any hope they have of returning to ‘normal’ life. Thing is, the old ‘normal’ is done. We ain’t going back. We can only go forward. So whether you choose to inject yourself with whatever you believe is best for you, or you choose not to inject yourself with what the government is threatening you MUST inject or risk losing all access to the old world, I hope you are doing okay. And remember, all storms pass.

Do you think people can choose for themselves or do you know what’s best for them? I don’t know what’s best for you. I simply stand for a world where you get to choose what’s best for you and I get to choose what’s best for me. Choice. It makes us human.

Thank goodness we have choice. As much as some people might want to take our right to choose away, we still have a choice. Even if it is simply choosing to remain centred while surrounded by madness. Choose your choice.

One year ago, during a Melbourne ‘lockdown’ rule initiation ceremony which we chose not to take part in. As a family. We thought it better for our well being to go to the beach. So we drove 1 hour 45 minutes to do that. One year later we still have the same values: loving life over fearing living. And now living in a new state (physically) but also in the same state (emotionally): a state of appreciation of all we have—while doing our best to ignore the noise of the fear industry. Today is really all we have.
