An Australian Human Rights Act would be 𝐚 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 as long as the protections it provides for those rights are non-derogable. Officials and bureaucrats should not be given the option to override fundamental freedoms 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧. In the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, the right not to be subjected to scientific or medical experimentation absent free and informed consent is expressed as non-derogable. If such a law was present federally in Australia the last few years may have played out differently. Unfortunately, statutory tradition in Australia is to bake in exceptions to human rights statutes which, makes those rights very difficult to enforce and defend. But, politicians are ultimately beholden to the will of the people, and the people are waking up fast. https://theconversation.com/report-finds-clear-need-for-an-australian-human-rights-act-what-difference-would-it-make-231376

I wonder if the Australian Human Rights Commission has received permission from the holders of Law on this land to operate? If not, the Commission breaches the most fundamental cultural law, and cannot be said to be genuine in its mission. However, the new President, Hugh de Kretser, has an opportunity to commence this conversation, particularly given some of his prior work. Such conversation might lead to a more comprehensive fulfillment of the AHRC’s statutory mission, which is to advocate for and protect the human rights the country of Australia has covenanted into upholding, but rarely does. #humanrights #ahrc #culturallaw #humanrightslawyer https://www.themandarin.com.au/247019-victorian-community-legal-centre-champion-chosen-to-lead-human-rights-commission/

Searching for shared values in our society is not an easy exercise. This is one of the things Peter spoke to Michael Gray Griffith about this week. Here he explains that one way we can look to get on the same page, is by focusing on what is causing humanity harm. We may have differences of opinion about certain issues, yet still be able to view that there is a common "root" to the harm facing human beings. We look around us and see issues arising from synthetic foods, synthetic chemicals, synthetic medicine; along with environmental destruction and questionable education systems (and more). Our focus should be on who is propagating this. That's our enemy, not each other - and our foundation to move forward. If you would like to see the full chat between Peter and Michael you can find it here: https://rumble.com/v4z9gt0-are-our-freedoms-a-gift-of-gods-imperfections-with-guest-peter-fam..html

We're living in a society today that is literally disabling us. We are searching for a state of balance, while the medical model and system at large facilitates the opposite. So, what would be more impactful than a national immunisation strategy? An approach that focuses on our human connection with nature and the demonstrable healing effects of nature on humanity. You can see Peter's past chat with Victor Dalziel here: https://rumble.com/v43xv0r-community-leaders-presents...peter-fam.html #nature #healing #healthpromotion #humanrights #truth #maatsmethod

The 'interim' Australian Centre for Disease Control is inviting public feedback on a National Immunsation Strategy 🤔 "This strategy will guide the nation's immunisation efforts over the next 5 years, aiming to increase immunisation rates and reduce vaccine-preventable diseases. As the current National Immunisation Strategy expires in December 2024, we are gathering insights from key stakeholders on its effectiveness and engagement. These insights will inform the new strategy, ensuring it addresses current challenges and future needs...Your input will help to improve immunisation efforts and protect the health of individuals and communities." What would be much more helpful than a “national immunisation strategy”, plus a much better use of public money, would be a national strategy which honestly educates the public about what is healthy for them and what isn’t, so that they weren’t reliant on pharmaceutical drugs at all. But, as they say, there is more money in sickness than in health! The consultation paper and online survey is 👇 https://www.cdc.gov.au/newsroom/news-and-articles/have-your-say-help-shape-australias-national-immunisation-strategy

Laws pass all the time. Many of those laws are corruptible. The Digital ID issue is not done and dusted just because a law has passed. It was always likely to pass. We must decide - what actions are we going to take on a daily basis? How are we going to employ our ability to choose? Our inherent power is not diluted by external parameters and rules and regulations, it is always there. What happens in the communities that we live in is ultimately just a numbers game. Will enough of us band together to protect and promote what is truly important? Or will we compromise for the sake of the illusion of safety, or for the perceived comfort of life? It is the same question whether you’re talking about digital ID or pharmaceutical poisons or silver iodine or fluoride or genocide…what decisions will you make in the context of your own life; and do those decisions align with your duty to be True? If enough of us make the right decision enough of the time, no evil can befall us, no matter what...

If you only have a hammer, everything looks like a nail. We are constantly confronted with cases where police have used force when it was not needed and when such use of force only served to escalate the situation. The training, culture and practice of policing in Australia is broken, and more than 90% of police want to leave the force as a result. If you have had an encounter with police that was unnecessary or over the top, feel free to get in touch. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13406005/judge-liz-gaynor-county-court-slams-police-violence-Covid-lockdown-protests.html

Queensland Police sacking their ‘First Nations Advisory Body’ because they wouldn’t sign a gag contract is ironic for two reasons. On the surface, it shows that implementing the body was merely about perception rather than anything genuine. On a deeper level, it points to the issue of first nations groups trying to work with a system that has already shown itself to not even be interested in the wellbeing of non-first nations people, let alone the first nations people it has been consistently and directly attacking for two and a half centuries. Original people here have their own Law and in truth it supersedes the authority of Queensland Police. It’s just that Queensland Police have guns... #irony #truth #maatsmethod https://nit.com.au/07-05-2024/11245/queensland-polices-first-nations-advisory-group-sacked-after-refusing-to-sign-new-contract-with-gag-clause
