Relevance of the news:- --Indian scientists have for the first time used supercomputer-based simulations to explain this effect at the molecular level. --The study shows that heating water rearranges hydrogen bonds, enabling hot water to release energy faster during cooling, which can lead to quicker freezing. --This resolves a long-standing scientific paradox and highlights India’s strength in high-performance computing and computational physics.
