Come se non bastasse, il #55 inizia la serie di epiloghi firmati Wells perché you-can't-quit-we-need-to-fire-you Lowe ha bisogno di più tempo per coprire l'arrivo di Kelly. Ne esce fuori un albo illustrato da Emilio Laiso e Bryan Valenza tutto sommato molto carino che vede Peter Parker tentare il tutto per tutto con la nuova fiamma Shay Marken.

Un girotondo praticamente infinito ove la realtà non trova più applicazione materiale: ricordi e sensazioni, memorie e percorsi neurali trattati come boh, fantasmi? demoni? Se il #54 di Amazing Spider-Man dovesse essere ricordato come il punto più basso della gestione Nick Lowe da Slott a Spencer fino a Wells non sarebbe affatto ingiusto.
