As an AI Specialist Intern, you’ll help build, test, and ship AI-enabled applications that improve how thousands of colleagues across UBS work every day. Working alongside experienced engineers and product managers, you will:
• Design and build AI agents that automate, augment, or reinvent how work gets done across UBS
• Apply core generative AI techniques, including prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, MCP, LangGraph, and emerging agentic patterns, to deliver real production use cases
• Map and redesign business workflows around AI agents, pinpointing where automation and reasoning can remove friction and improve outcomes
• Build across the agent spectrum, using no-code and low-code platforms for fast iteration, and pro-code frameworks where deeper customization, integrations, or extensions are needed

The Investment Risk & Performance division (IRP) is a team of risk professionals that is focused on assessing the risk & performance of the various investment portfolios (Strategies) across GIC in support of the strategy and GIC’s overall investment, capital allocation and portfolio risk management activities. IRP is part of the Risk and Performance Management Department, that is headed by the CRO.
The IRP team sits with & works closely with the respective investment teams, and comprises individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds, including individuals with prior experience in fixed income trading, equity analysts, risk management and private markets investing.
We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join IRP as an Intern. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in risk assessment and analysis within a dynamic financial environment.
