Hello guys good morning
I have found in the books about measuring the temperature of the Sun that the Sun is considered as a black body. Now the question in my mind is how can the Sun be a Black body? When I think of a black body, I think of a black body reflecting a lot of radiation inside a cavity and coming out through a small aperture. There can be no such cavity and no such aperture in the middle of the Sun. So how can we compare the Sun to a Black Body?
Suppose the solar radiation spectrum emitted from the Sun , is almost the same as the wave length Vs Radiation intensity of the Blackbody. This may also be coincidental. Graph The same means that the Sun is not a blackbody.
I found it on Google
"The radiation from the Sun is continuously distributed over all the wavelengths, so the sun can be considered as a blackbody" - In a blackbody, there is absorption, not distribution. How do I say Black body?
please explain from which direction the sun is Blackbody?
How many of you are having university exams in this month??
Mark yes if you are having it otherwise mark no.
