In this course, instructor Jen Kramer explains why the display property is so important and walks you through basic display values and newer display values that you need to understand to make effective use of this property. Learn about inline-level elements and the inline display value. Explore block-level elements, the block display value, and how to nest inline and block elements in HTML. Find out how to use “display: none” and “visibility: hidden” to hide content. Dive into newer display values, such as inline flex and grid values, the flow-root property, inline-block, tables, and list items. Plus, practice what you're learning with hands-on exercises. As much as border radii are ubiquitous, it is a tad bit unnatural where the circle meets the straight line.This problem is solved by squircles which are found in a lot of mobile app launchers, including the iOS app list 🤩 We finally get squircles on the web! This corner-shape property is a rather robust property, through which you can define custom shapes for the border radius - the 'squircle' being one predefined value The best part is that it is backward compatible for the most part, if the browser doesn't support this property, the squircle would be rendered as a square with a default border radius.
