When the guys with the most influence on this app are doing stuff like this everyone else follows. And over time it just degrades the crypto space. We cannot let this continue to happen. We also cannot support the fomo app which has created this social farming meta and deteriorated on chain trading to new lows. Hold times are at all time lows and rotations are at all time highs. Boomers saw that people with a college degree did well in life, not thinking about a relatively important filter that sorted people with traits that helped them do well from people who wouldn’t. They removed the filter to get more people into college. We got a ton of people with a lot of college debt and not much else.
When immigration levels from India were low, there was a filter for a type of person who is driven and works hard. We were skimming from the top. But people said, wow, these Indian workers are great, they seem to work hard and contribute well, let’s go find some more. But when you say, open borders, or build organizations to facilitate immigration you’re removing that filter. You’re no longer getting the cream from the top, you’re brining over increasing numbers of the billions of people who aren’t all that remarkable and bring in the issues of different cultures. We actually do know what that ends up looking like.
