The authors named the new technology Capacitivo and have already found how to apply it, namely as a tablecloth that can come up with recipes itself!!! The fabric looks like a grid of electrodes attached to a textile backing. Built-in sensors study the electrical capacitance of an object, and then, transmit that data to the device. The fabric uses the principle of a touch screen that reads your finger. After several tests, scientists found that the system was 94.5% accurate. And in the case of liquids, it was 96% accurate.
