Three things to keep in mind in IELTS. 1. IELTS is a communication test. So it means that it is not just about grammar and vocab etc. it is about how you can use them. That's why, I'm shifting from just memorizing words to sentences in our classes. 2. Keep everything simple. In writing and Speaking specifically, students do happen to worry a lot about their sentence structures or ideas. I would say, keep everything simple and talk and write normally. FORGET about advanced words that you barely understand. (if you understand and know how to use some advanced words, then I think it's possible to use but again be careful.) 3. Examiners and invigilators are not your enemy. When the written test comes and you go in a big room to take the test, there will be some people to help you with finding your place to sit and some other basic stuff. Those people are there to help you. During the speaking exam, do not think that the examiner is trying to fail you, no, I'm sure they couldn't care less. @teachersultanbek
