🚨🇫🇷| JUST IN: PSG likely won’t even get the “€ 80M loyalty bonus” that Kylian Mbappé supposedly gave up last summer to get back into the first team. In October, the € 80M loyalty bonus was not paid to Mbappé as part of the agreement. However, in February, the club paid this € 80M loyalty bonus back to him. Nasser Al-Khelaïfi’s entourage says it was done because the desire was to see Real Madrid settling the bill to the club in the end, rather than Mbappé. However, Florentino Pérez absolutely declined to do so, and insisted there was no chance that Madrid would pay a single euro to “PSG” for a player who is out of contract this June. Nasser Al-Khelaïfi did not like this at all, and he still deeply dislikes Florentino Pérez: the issues between both men have intensified significantly in recent years. Therefore, in return, the club “forgot” to pay Mbappé’s salary for April and in addition, the club also did not pay a bonus to him that was due in February, which, according to a source close to PSG, now corresponds to a saving of € 80M for the club. For now, the club has therefore saved € 80M in another way from Mbappé after paying him the loyalty bonuses. Other sources maintain that “negotiations” are underway to obtain a little more money for the club. However, there are hardly any “negotiations”. For the past few days, lawyers from both sides (Mbappé and PSG) have just been communicating through mail. A sale this summer is ruled out due to a clause allowing PSV to get a large part of a transfer fee if a sale were to happen before January 2025.
