At age 13, Hart Main came up with the idea of manly scented candles after teasing his sister about the girly scented ones she was selling for a school fundraiser. It wasn't until Hart set out to purchase a $1,500 bike that he reconsidered the idea he suggested. Hart and his parents contributed nominal amounts to begin the business and worked together to develop the candles and cleverly named ManCan. By the spring of 2011, candle manufacturing was moved out of the Mains’ kitchen and warehouse space was rented, and about five employees were hired to help make candles. In January 2014, ManCans went into full production after Main was approached by the Beaver Creek Candle Co. in Lisbon to manufacture and distribute the candles, and that is where they are made today. By simply adopting a simple and masculine theme, the sales exceeds six figures annually. MICHAEL DELL (Owner of Dell Computer Corporation💻) Michael was born February 23, 1965, in Houston, Texas. At an early interest in technology and business but his parent pushed their son to consider medicine. Dell landed a job washing dishes at a Chinese restaurant at the age 12 so that he could put away money for his stamp collection. Intrigued by the expanding world of computers and gadgetry, Dell purchased an early Apple computer at the age of 15 for the strict purpose of taking it apart to see how it worked. It was in college that Dell found the niche that would become his boom. The PC world was still young and Dell realized that no company had tried selling directly to customers. Bypassing the middleman and the markups, Dell tapped his savings account for $1,000 and started building and selling computers for people he knew at college. By 2000, Dell was a billionaire and his company had offices in 34 countries and employee count of more than 35,000.
