Doubts in Los Alamos
Though Oppenheimer said years later in 1961 that he didn't carry the dropping of the bombs on his conscience, not everyone who worked at Los Alamos felt that way. Some were conflicted, especially after Adolf Hitler's death in April 1945.
"For me, Hitler was the personification of evil and the primary justification for the atomic bomb work," Los Alamos physicist Emilio Segrè, who was Jewish, later wrote. "Now that the bomb could not be used against the Nazis, doubts arose. Those doubts, even if they do not appear in official reports, were discussed in many private conversations."

“The first part of the Divya [liberated one] to take shape on this earth is his Hand.
They appear among the hills of the sacred Cordilleras. There we can see them.
The primeval Orphic Egg was broken with this Hand, opening that painful ‘window’ by which the she of HE-SHE and the he of SHE-HE escape.
It is the hand of the Initiate who re-takes the Egg of Manu-Tara, thereby closing the ‘wound’, the ‘window’.
The Hero, Vîra, can do nothing without the Hand. Neither War nor Love.”
— from Manu: For the Man To Come (1991) by Miguel Serrano

You will never hear me chant “Death to America”, because I believe in the White Race, and despite all its problems I still believe that America is worth fighting for.
