Adolf Hitler.
"I am not worthy to speak up for Adolf Hitler, and to any sentimental rousing his life and deeds do not invite.
He was a warrior, a warrior for humankind and a preacher of the gospel of justice for all nations. He was a reforming character of the highest order, and his historical fate was that he functioned in a time of unequaled brutality, which in the end failed him.
Thus may the ordinary Western European look at Adolf Hitler. And we, his close followers, bow our heads at his death."
— Knut Hamsun
Obituary of Adolf Hitler by Norwegian writer Knut Hamsun (1859-1952), published on the evening of 7 May 1945 in the newspaper Aftenposten ("The Evening Post").

IN MEMORIAM
On this day on April 30, 1945 Adolf Hitler and his wife Eva took their own lives in a bunker below Berlin, rather than subjugate themselves to the humiliation of surrendering to the Bolsheviks, and becoming public spectacles “for the diversion of the hysterical masses”.

Götterdämmerung
In the last months of the war Der Führer would sometimes discuss this concept with his inner circle — the final war between the forces of light and darkness which would destroy all living things, including the Gods themselves.
Perhaps the old Gods did indeed pass away from our presence, and perception during the Battle of Berlin.

Hubble Telescope celebrates 33rd anniversary with gorgeous photo of nearby stellar nursery
The Hubble Space Telescope captured this new view of NGC 1333, a reflection nebula located 960 light-years away in the Perseus molecular cloud.
Hubble launched into orbit around earth on April 25, 1990, aboard the space shuttle Discovery. Since then, the iconic scope has collected roughly 1.6 million observations of nearly 52,000 celestial targets.

Even Adolf Hitler Was a Normie Once
“There were very few jews in Linz. Over the centuries, the Jews who lived there had become Europeanized in external appearance, and were so much like other people that I even looked upon them as Germans.
The reason why I didn’t then perceive the absurdity of such an illusion was that I saw no other distinguishing feature but the strange religion.
I believed that they were persecuted on account of their faith, and my aversion at hearing such remarks nearly grew into a feeling of abhorrence.”
— from Mein Kampf (1925) by Adolf Hitler
