I would argue that General Tomer-Yerushalmi would likely have been vindicated by a military court, as she could have proven she followed orders and served the IDF's interest by presenting the pretence of an ‘active and healthy justice system.’ In a civil court, however, she faces accusations limited to leaking specific documents or lying in court. She will probably admit to this and face the consequences. The verdict would ultimately grant more power to Netanyahu against his weakened opposition.
However, the take-home message is overwhelmingly simple. If General Tomer-Yerushalmi’s actions were motivated by an attempt to push the ICC away by conveying a false image of a capable IDF justice system intolerant of war crimes, then her pursuit and arrest only prove to the world that the ICC must take the most severe measures against what the lawless, morbid entity and its wide range of war criminals.
What is behind the IDF top prosecutor saga?
The IDF's top prosecutor, General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi, is accused of leaking information and videos that expose a horrific story of IDF soldiers torturing and sodomizing Palestinian detainees. The Israeli right has tried to capitalize on the unfolding story, claiming that the general's recent arrest vindicates the soldiers and that the leaked videos were ‘fake.’ However, the trial of the soldiers is proceeding, and the videos have been confirmed as genuine. General Tomer-Yerushalmi is now essentially accused of ‘treason’ for the leak. This affair could have been a classic case of ‘killing the messenger,’ but it is far more complex.
It has become clear that the General was not operating alone. The Israeli police claim to possess WhatsApp group communications involving other high-ranking officers connected to the leaked information. The Israeli press has referenced eight top officers within the IDF prosecution command. The documents were physically leaked by a junior officer within the military prosecutor’s command, who also admitted to the act before the Israeli General Security Organisation (Shabak). It is unthinkable that General Tomer-Yerushalmi would have made the decision to expose the IDF's conduct, consulted other high-ranking officers, and mobilized junior officers without a green light from above. Who could give such a green light? Her direct commander, the Israeli chief of staff (Herzi Halevi), or even the defense minister (Yoav Gallant).
Why would Israel’s supreme military authorities give such an order? The goal would be to prove that Israel ‘has the legal means to prosecute its war criminals’—a message to The Hague that it should stay away. If this theory is correct, General Tomer-Yerushalmi and those who authorized her were driven by ‘patriotic sentiments.’ They believed their actions were ‘good for the Jews.’ Make no mistake, however: I am not arguing that an ethical drive was involved. On the contrary, it was an attempt to push away the world’s supreme court by presenting a false image of ethical accountability. In short, the image of ‘ethical behaviour’ replaces any genuine care for ethical conduct, something that is absent from the state that calls itself the Jewish State.
This is where the General's alleged fake suicide attempt becomes a fascinating development. The IDF's top prosecutor clearly understood what lay ahead. She knows about Israel’s judicial system; until a week ago, she was its head. She realized her case would likely be held behind closed doors under a gag order. The General, I believe, orchestrated the fake suicide attempt to point a finger at those who gave her the green light. She probably apologized to her loved ones for her decision to take her own life, but she must have also stated that she was following orders and operating within her military duties. How can we know this? The Israeli press mentioned that her ‘final note’ contained sensitive statements that cannot be disclosed.
If General Tomer-Yerushalmi were guilty of ‘treason’ as a top-ranking IDF officer, one would expect her to be tried by a military court and face severe punishment. This is clearly not the case. She was arrested by the Israeli police and brought before a civil court. This leads to an interesting question, shouldn’t the general be subject to military trial? First we may have to examine the distinction between civil and military law. In the liberal world, we tend to believe that people are ‘innocent until proven guilty.’ This is not the case in military law, where the organization’s interests supersede those of the individual. Often in the army, an officer will penalize an entire unit for a mistake made by one or two subordinates. Military justice is not inspired by the ‘pursuit of justice,’ let alone ethics, but by the survivability of the system itself.
It didn’t take them too long to identify that the elephant in the room has been of a kosher nature and for more than a while. If ‘Jewish power’ is a taboo topic within left circles and western Palestinian solidarity groups (they will go as far as discussing ‘Zionist power’), in the American Right no one seems to be afraid of referring to the J word and the tribe’s dominance within American life.
The shift that we see in American Right currently may be way more significant than decades of Western left-leaning Palestinian solidarity for the obvious reason that the American Right and Christian Right have awakened to the true morbid nature of the Jewish State and the theology that made it into what it is. The Left couldn’t have gone through such an awakening as it doesn’t even possess the theoretical/ideological tools to engage with the meaning of Jewish theology or religion in general.
But there is another aspect here that may be very significant. Neither Hamas, nor Hezbollah, the Houthis or Iran could be considered Left-leaning by any form or shape. They are religiously driven and at least, from a Left perspective, are considered Right-wing by nature. It is only natural, therefore, that Right agitators will present a better understanding of the core ideology that inspires (ed) both Ben Gvir and Sinwar.
While I don’t see UK Tommy Robinson supporting Hamas any time soon, we already saw Tucker Carlson lending his platform to the voice of Iran while focusing on some core Jewish issues. Col. Douglas Macgregor is not shy of using the J-word while also presenting Iranian perspectives. Candace Owens is fearlessly putting her finger at the problem. Nick Fuentes is probably the most vocal about the topic. Needless to mention that many do insist that Charlie Kirk lost his life for awakening to the Palestinian cause and the shift to that extent within the American Right.
I am of course a post political person. I was a ‘lefty’ in my early days. I stayed more or less at the same place, I still uphold pretty much the same values, but the Left moved: it became ‘liberal’, progressive and ‘identitarian’. It grew compromised. Being a thinking adult I, long ago, lost interest in any kind of political affiliation with Left or Right but I am fascinated, instead, by the meaning of the political discourse, the questions that it raises and in the answers it fails to deliver.
It is very obvious to me that the Left and the organised Jewish anti-Zionists have betrayed Palestine all along, misidentifying the Jewish theological perspective at the heart of Israel. Was it a deliberate, calculated treacherous act or maybe a result of limited theoretical capacity? This is of course a very interesting question to ponder. However, now may be the last moment for the Left and for Jewish anti-Zionists to finally grasp what is it that drives the brutal eradication of the Palestinian people. It is not a ‘land-grab’ enthusiasm (the and grab is a symptom not the disease), it is not ‘colonialism’ that lacks a ‘mother nation.’ It is not ‘settler colonial’ ideas that fuel the settlers like Smortrich, Ben Gvir and Daniella Weiss. It is not a territorial expansionist zeal. It is the theology. We owe this most obvious acknowledgment to ourselves but more than anyone else to the Palestinians, as they are the current victims of that very theology.
Part Two
Palestine Solidarity, Left vs. Right
Jewish ‘Anti’ Zionism for Dummies
After a long deliberation and consideration and tens of thousands of Palestinian children slaughtered in Gaza, the Jewish so-called ‘anti Zionists’ kindly allowed us to use the term ‘genocide’. They even gave us a green light to compare Israel to the 3rd Reich. Yet, they always make sure to set the boundaries of such equations just to insure that we do not look into the Judaic theology that guides Israel. We are allowed to make comparisons with other genocides as long as we 1. Sustain the primacy of Jewish suffering (the holocaust) 2. Make sure that we do not look into the Judaic elements that practically have been shaping the brutality of the conflict.
As far as I can tell, not one Jewish anti Zionist agitator or activist has recently contributed a single insight into the role of Judaism, Judaic texts or Judaic teaching in the context of the Gaza genocide. For the Jewish Left, and the so called Jewish ‘anti’ Zionists, the ‘Zionist’ state is still subject to the hegemony of the ‘Israelis.’ For the Jewish ‘anti’ Zionists the problem with ‘Zionism’ is the ‘occupation’, i.e. a ‘territorial matter’ (echoing the ‘Israelis’, see Part I, link in the 1st comment), ignoring the fact that in reality what we see is a Judaic theological crisis. The anti Zionist Jews will insist that we restrict our criticism to ‘colonialism’, ‘settler colonialism’, ‘apartheid’, basically every possible misleading historical model or term that would divert the attention from the J-word. When they allow themselves to refer to ‘Jewish supremacy’ (as some finally do these days) they will always frame it within the limited context of contemporary ‘Zionism’ or ‘settler colonialism’, as if Jewish supremacy is a recent invention, as if the Jewish problem was born with Zionism. In fact, the so-called ‘Jewish problem’ is as old as Judaism. Bizarrely enough, Zionism, in its early version, was a promise to resolve this problem.
But the Jewish anti Zionists are not alone. They have a battalion of Western Palestinian activists, agitators and academics who are lending their support to this misleading project. Why? Because it is convenient. It saves the trouble of being punished for being inconsiderate towards ‘Jewish sensitivities.’ As things stand, Palestinian activists can only operate successfully once they enjoy the support of the Jewish ‘anti’ Zionists. It is of course an absurd situation in which the solidarity discourse of the oppressed is shaped by the sensitivities of the oppressor.
Western Left isn’t helpful either. As much as it (genuinely) supports the Palestinians and is devastated by the ongoing extermination campaign in Palestine, Left doesn’t know how to deal with essentialism, religion and spirit. Left is a dialectical materialist apparatus, theology for the left is ‘the opium for the masses.’
Interestingly enough, from a metaphysical perspective, the Left discourse in its approach to history is structurally similar to the Judaic philosophy of the Old Testament. Rabbinical Jews do not need history because the meaning of their existence, temporality and historical direction is inspired by their Torah. Jewish history is basically a cycle of recycled inversions of ‘Remember Amalek”. The Left follows a similar paradigm. It recycles its very few materialist models (class war, colonialism, settler colonialism, imperialism, apartheid etc’). Whether they correspond with reality or not is irrelevant. However, doubting their fitness or explanatory power is considered an act of heresy within most if not all Left circles. I let you figure out why…
The American New Right and Gaza
This is exactly where the awakening of the American ideological Right is becoming a very interesting event, for me at least. Right wing are naturally less prone to party politics or any form of correctness.
It didn’t take MAGA prime agitators too long to turn against their leader once they realised that he didn’t actually have any plan to deliver.
The most crucial understanding at this point is to grasp that the battle we witness within the Jewish state is not of a political nature but over the true essence of the Jewish state, Jewish existence within such a state and the meaning of Jewishness and Judaism in general.
While it is true that Labour Zionism and its vision of Israeliness dominated the Jewish national project until 1977, following the 1967 war Jewish religious nationalist have been constantly gaining power. Their current domination within Israeli politics is now complete to a point that the ‘Israelis’ are becoming a shrinking minority of an infinitesimal nature. The Israeli Labour party that practically transformed Zionism into a statehood and led the Jewish National project until 1977 has been struggling to make it into the Kenesst. Yet, the human-sacrifice orgy we all witness in Gaza is a direct outcome of the total hegemony of ‘The Kingdom of Judea’ within the Israeli military and politics. Jewish Religious Nationalist agitators openly, shamelessly and fearlessly speak about “mass expulsion,” “mass starvation,” “mass murder” “mass rape” and at least in their view they echo their religious teachings.
While in the 1990s the battle between these two competing identities was still seen as undecided, by the early 2000s it came to a closure with an Israeliness’ total defeat. Israel has learned to see itself as ‘The Jewish State’, a state of the Jewish people (as opposed to a state of the Israelis). But it didn’t take long before this state morphed once again, this time into a Judaic State. Israel is now defined by Judaic religious teaching and inspired by Judaic religious texts. The above transition manifests itself in every aspect of Israeli life and this includes Israeli politics in general and Israeli crimes against humanity in particular.
What we see in Gaza is a tragic amplification of the most extreme lethal interpretation of the Judaic precept. Shockingly enough this interpretation of the Judaic call is overwhelmingly popular in Israel but it is also overpoweringly spread amongst Western Jewish institutions.
I am yet to see the ADL, AIPAC, (the British) Labour Friends of Israel or the (French) CRIF calling Israel to stop the Gaza genocide. If anything, what these Jewish organizations, institutions, and lobbies do instead is going out of their way to penalize those who dare apply the word genocide to Israeli actions.
While the analysis I present above is common in Israel and accepted by most left and right commentators, The Palestinian solidarity movement, the Left and most of Western Palestinian activists pretend to be blind to the true meaning of this Essentiality Clash within the Israeli society. They keep focusing on the Israeli ‘territorial’ objective, pretending not to see that something way deeper and dark is at play in the ‘Kingdom of Judea.’ It is called theology.
In Part II, I will delve into the manner in which decades of Palestinian solidarity industry activity was wasted on a desperate attempt not to interfere with Jewish sensitivities by deliberately misdiagnosing the Jewish National Project. By doing so, instead of leading towards a resolution of any kind of the Palestinian plight, the movement as a whole became a continuation of the problem.
End of Part one.

Essentialism and the ‘Left’
Part 1
The topic I am about to present to you today may be new to most readers and contributors on this page. In order to fully grasp it we must first delve into the difference between ‘political difference’ and ‘essentiality clash.’
People, parties, institutions can disagree amongst themselves about the future of their state, its governmental decisions, the distribution of wealth, state’s economic system, state’s defence strategy and so on. These kinds of disagreements fall into the rubric of political differences.
Essentiality Clash is when people, parties and institutions don’t agree amongst themselves on the fundamental meaning of themselves being together as a society, collective or a state. These events are rare in history and associated largely with Right-wing, conservative and religiously oriented ideologies. Hitler and his party, for instance, upheld a revolutionary view of the meaning and the essence of Germanic existence. Tommy Robinson and his followers adhere to a perception of meaning of British society (White & Christian) that differs radically from the common British tolerant, multicultural self-image. The Islamic revolution in Iran transformed the meaning of Iran as it was precepted until that point in time. The battle over the core meanings is what I refer to as an ‘Essentiality Clash.’
The ‘Israelis’ vs. The ‘Kingdom of Judea’
One mode of understanding the evolvement of the Jewish nationalist project involves grasping the Essentiality Clash between two competing Israeli nationalist Jewish views. These two core ideological perceptions attribute completely different meaning to the notion of both ‘the Jewish State’ but also the meaning of being a Jew in such a state.
Over the years, these two competing perceptions have grown apart and eventually found themselves in a bitter unresolved conflict.
On the pretence of a ‘Left’, ‘secular, and ‘enlightened’ side of the Israeli political divide we meet the so called ‘Israelis’, the ‘left over’ of Labour Zionism. They are the secular new Herbrews who believe that Jews in Palestine are now ‘fact on the ground’. They are there in Palestine because they were promised a ‘national home for the Jewish people’ by the Balfour Declaration. This declaration was reinforced by the UN in 1949. For the ‘Israelis ‘ or the secular Hebrews , the settlement project in Palestine has always been a territorial project with territorial objectives. The so called ‘Israelis’ still believe that the Jewish State’s dispute with pretty much everyone in the region is of a territorial nature hence resolvable by means of territorial compromise (e.g. The Oslo Accord, Two States etc).
On the other side of the bitter debate we meet the authentic Right wing religious nationalists. These are people who genuinely believe that the land of Israel was given to them (and them only) by a God figure (whom they themselves invented). For them, the occupation of Palestine or even Greater Israel is not a ‘territorial matter,’ it is actually a religious act, a prime Mitzvah. Some political commentators in Israel refer to this right wing forceful collective of zealots as ‘The Kingdom of Judea.’ They see themselves as the true offspring of Biblical Judea.
What we see is, practically, a clash between two rival core essentialist perceptions (‘Israelis’ and the ‘Kingdom of Judea’), that interpret the meaning and the essence of the Jewish state in a completely different fashion. The above analysis may explain to some perplexed witnesses why in the so called ‘anti Netanyahu’ rallies we notice more Israeli flags than people. The ‘Israelis’ insist upon owning the state’s symbols i.e. the flag, the state’s name, etc. But down to it, this battle is an Essentiality Clash between ‘Israeliness’ and ‘Judaism.’
We learn from the press that Israel threatens to unleash biblical plagues on Yemen’s Houthis.
https://aje.io/pi7zc9
The Biblical Ten Plagues of Egypt were literally an ongoing genocide committed by the Jewish God deploying WMD - chemical, biological and even climate : Nile turning to blood, frogs, lice, flies, livestock pestilence, boils, hail, locusts, darkness, and the death of all firstborn.
In case you still wonder whether ‘Zionism is Judaism’ the answer is in front of you. The Jewish State is inspired and guided by the most radical genocidal Judaic texts. Accordingly Zionism is Judaism in practice and vice versa. The two notions are now intermingled!
But it goes further. The Ten Plagues of Egypt is not exactly an event in history. This Biblical story doesn’t appear in any Egyptian chronicle. It is actually an expression of a genocidal urge on the part of the Old Testament’s ‘God’.
I let you figure out who invented such an evil god and who keeps believing in such a mass killer Deity that wouldn’t have a chance to survive The Hague.
Just in case you are confused by the above, let me sort you out.
I would argue strongly that first were the Jews and it is those early Jews who created a God in their own image. Accordingly, the true Jewish God is the Jew. The Jews believe in the Jew and the Jew believe in the Jews.
This is why Jews can drop their God and stay Jews. This is why Jews can believe in many things. This also why the so called ‘anti’ Zionist Jews want you to combat Zionism but never touch the J word….
Most credible military analysts actually insist that Israel is marching towards an inevitable defeat.
In the Biblical Story the victory is not achieved by the Israeli military's might but is a divine act meant to demonstrate God's power and holiness to the entire world.
According to the biblical prophecy, the purpose is not merely a military victory but a profound theological revelation celebrated by a narcissist disturbed God figure (who actually sounds a bit like Trump): “And I will magnify Myself, and sanctify Myself, and I will make Myself known in the eyes of many nations; and they shall know that I am the LORD." (Ezekiel 38:23).
In the Hebrew prophecy, the victory sanctifies God's name and ends any doubt about his role in history and His covenant with the Jewish people. It is important to mention all of that so you finally understand why the likes of Ben Gvir and Smortrich insist to prolong the war. In Jewish eschatology, the war of Gog and Magog is a pivotal event that precedes or inaugurates the Messianic Era and turning our one and only planet into a pile of ashes seems to be a necessary act according to their belief.
Gaza Genocide and WW3 in the light of Biblical Gog and Magog Apocalypse.
The Jewish State didn’t invent the notion of genocide nor devise its practice. But it is the first to be caught on camera celebrating, in the open, a campaign of extermination of an entire people. Perplexed, we have been witnessing Israeli government’s ministers calling for the mass starvation and destruction of the whole of Gaza. On a daily basis, we watch IDF’s soldiers spreading selfies of themselves dancing and celebrating the destruction of the indigenous people of the land.
The world stands bewildered
witnessing all of that. Yet, no one dares to explain what is that drives that monstrous behaviour. What is the origin of that lethal enthusiasm enacted by the people who, at the same time, insist upon the rest of us remembering their own suffering?
Needless to mention, our so-called Jewish anti Zionist ‘allies’, who are supposed to be slightly more immersed in Jewish culture and religion, also fail their duty. Instead of helping us grasp the Israeli abnormal behaviour, they make sure we attack all those demi targets: Zionism, colonialism, apartheid etc. They never look into the meaning of the Jewishness of the state that calls itself the “Jewish State.”
It doesn’t take a genius to find out that the human catastrophe that we see in Gaza echoes some of the most vile verses in Deuteronomy:
"When the Lord your God brings you into the land you are entering to possess and drives out before you many nations... then you must destroy them totally. Make no treaty with them, and show them no mercy” (Deuteronomy 7:1-2, 5-6)
"However, in the cities of the nations the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, do not leave alive anything that breathes. Completely destroy them…” (Deuteronomy 20:16-18)
Yet, the brutal verses above refer, somehow, to a genocide of a local nature. Something that may explain contextually the Israeli brutality in Gaza, in the West Bank or in Beirut. Yet, there is a greater story here that most of us are shy to look into and for a good reason.
The Jewish State is pushing, in front of us, for World War III. This is not a secret, it isn’t a news item, either. Some geopolitical and military analysts have been arguing that this is the case for more than a while. However, I myself started to notice recently that some rabbis are talking about such a scenario openly. I have now come across rabbis preaching about the necessary apocalypse that will proceed with a messianic redemption.
This apocalyptic scenario is inherent to Judaic religious thought and its origin is in the Biblical Gog and Magog prophecy.
The war of Gog and Magog, described primarily in the Book of Ezekiel (chapters 38-39), is a prophecy of colossal global war that ends, you guess correctly, with a miraculous and decisive victory for the Jewish people and their God.
According to the Jewish tradition based on the Hebrew Bible, the Jews (or more accurately, God fighting for the Jews) win a total and miraculous victory in the war of Gog and Magog. This victory is seen as the final, definitive act of redemption that ushers in the Messianic Age.
The Biblical prophecy describes a massive coalition of nations, led by a figure named Gog from the land of Magog, attacking the land of Israel, which is living in a state of ‘peace and security’.
The Attack: A vast army from the north (often interpreted by contemporary commentators as modern-day Russia, Turkey, Isis or more generally, a confederation of hostile nations) descends upon Israel.
Divine Intervention: Just as the situation seems hopeless, God Himself intervenes in a dramatic and supernatural way. Some contemporary commentators may suggest that the transformation of the USA into an Israeli mercenary force and Trump’s decision to deploy America’s strategic bomber fleet in an attempt to accomplish the Israeli mission in Iran was a ‘divine intervention’. But there is one problem with this interpretation;
Israel didn’t win a decisive victory in its 12 day war. It didn’t even win in Gaza.
Zionism vs. Jewish State in the eyes of Lacan
One of Golda Meir’s most famous (alleged) quotes reads as follows:
“We can forgive the Arabs for killing our children. We cannot forgive them for forcing us to kill their children.”
Of course this misrepresentation of both ‘Arabs’ and the ‘Jews’ doesn’t agree with the genocidal reality and the barbarian intensity performed by the Jewish State in Gaza, in the West Bank, in Lebanon and the plan for Greater Israel in general.
Needless to mention, the Jewish State’s reaction to 7 October rules out the possibility that there is one drop of forgiveness in the Israelite tribe. And, of course, the repeated images of IDF soldiers and government ministers celebrating the genocide makes it clear that there is an Israeli gratifying element in the act of spreading destruction.
The French psychoanalyst Jacques Lacan taught us that we often say the complete opposite of what we really think. Today we will utilize Lacan’s insight in an attempt to dissect the transition from Zionism to a Jewish State.
For Lacan ‘Desire is the Desire of the Other’
Our desire is not a simple, biological drive. It is fundamentally alienated or in a constant negotiation with the reality around us.
We learn what to desire by seeing what others desire - in the late 19th century and early 20th the ‘Others’ (or Goyim if you like), desired a nation state.
We desire things not only based on their face value but based on their symbolic value—The Early Zionist didn’t want a state because they desired a state mechanism, a currency, a government or even a military force, they just wished desperately to become ‘People like all other People’.
Most fundamentally, we desire to be desired. We want to be the object of the Other's desire. We want to be recognized as unique, special, and worthy - we want everyone to see that we make the ‘desert bloom’, that we can do it by ourselves, to farm the land, to build machines, to protect ourselves and even be ‘kind’ to our neighbours.
Zionism, as such, was a desperate Jewish phantasy to become ‘the desire of the Other’. Zionism followed a rare political moment in which (some) Jews looked in the mirror and got deeply upset by what they saw. They really wanted to change. To become universally accepted by means of becoming ordinary.
This is exactly the aspiration expressed by Golda Meir above. She doesn’t tell what Jews or Arabs are, she instead tells us how Jews wished to be perceived by the Other. She expressed her desire to be seen as kind and humane.
Surprisingly enough the Zionist agenda indeed worked well for a while. The world was excited by the Zionist project. The Early Zionists vowed to take the Jews away and to make them into an ordinary productive society of enthusiast proletarians (Labour Zionism). The world didn’t pay much attention to the 1948 Nakba crime. It kept admiring israel in 1956 Suez Campaign and even more after the 1967 military victory .
Golda Meir’s quote above suggests to us that at one stage the Israelis themselves bought into the idea that they may have finally become the ‘desire of the other’. In fact, this point in history is the exact end of Zionism as a spiritual movement (the end of political Zionism occurred two decades earlier in 1948). The end of the aspiration to become ‘the desire of the other’ by means of being ordinary (people like all other people) is the moment Israel drifted away from its founding ideology and became the Jewish State—a state that doesn’t ‘desire’ the recognition of the other. It is obsessed, instead, with the celebration of its true Jewish nature to which the current genocide is just one symptom amongst many.
* Statement from Progressive Jewish Movements: Various groups within Reform, Reconstructionist, and Open Orthodox movements have issued critical statements. For example, Reconstructing Judaism released a statement expressing "profound grief" and "moral outrage" at the mounting death toll, calling for a ceasefire and a political solution.
Abraham Burg is without a doubt an Israeli hero, a man who made a powerful and significant journey from the belly of the beast into a vocal dissenter of the Jewish State project.
A few days he called for one million Jews to oppose the genocide in Gaza. The truth of the matter is that even if 13 million Jews would express their dissent to the Jewish state at this point, it won’t change much. The ongoing crime has been established and there is no way back from a genocide.
However, just in case, I decided to ask AI to list the most significant Jewish public dissent letters to the IsraelGaza genocide.
Not only we aren’t close to a million Jews. We actually don’t exceed the several hundred signatories.
Following is the list:
1. From Holocaust Survivors and Their Descendants
* Letter: "Never Again For Anyone"
* Signatories: Over 300 Holocaust survivors, descendants, and relatives.
* Key Message: They draw a direct line from the lessons of the Holocaust to the present, arguing that "Never Again" must mean never again for *anyone*. They express alarm at the rhetoric and mass killing in Gaza, urging the world not to stand by as populations are dehumanized.
* Source: Published in major newspapers and online platforms in November 2023.
2. From Israeli Human Rights Organizations
These groups are based in Israel and document violations from within.
* B'Tselem (The Israeli Information Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories): While not a single letter, B'Tselem has consistently issued statements and reports condemning Israeli policy. They have stated that Israel is committing a "crime of unprecedented proportions" and that the massive harm to civilians is a result of official policy.
* Breaking the Silence (Shovrim Shtika): An organization of veteran Israeli soldiers. They have published testimonies and statements arguing that the military's conduct in Gaza, and the occupation system it upholds, leads to inevitable and severe violations of human rights.
* Gisha - The Legal Center for Freedom of Movement: Focuses on Palestinian freedom of movement. They have repeatedly condemned the siege on Gaza as a form of collective punishment, both before and during the current war, which is illegal under international law.
#l3. From International Jewish Human Rights and Peace Groups
* Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) & IfNotNow: These are two of the most prominent anti-occupation Jewish groups in the U.S. They have organized large-scale protests, published open letters and ads in papers like *The New York Times*, and consistently condemned the Israeli military campaign, often using the term "genocide." They call for an immediate ceasefire and an end to U.S. military aid to Israel.
* Jews for Racial & Economic Justice (JFREJ): Based in New York, this group has issued numerous statements condemning the violence and calling for a ceasefire, linking the struggle for justice in Palestine to their broader social justice work.
4. From Academics and Scholars
* Open Letter from Jewish Scholars of Holocaust and Genocide Studies: Hundreds of scholars in this field signed a statement early in the war warning of a potential genocide.
* Key Quote: "As Jewish scholars of Holocaust and genocide studies, we are compelled to sound the alarm about the possibility of the crime of genocide being perpetrated by Israeli forces against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip."
* Open Letters from University Faculty: Numerous petitions have circulated among Jewish faculty at universities worldwide (e.g., Harvard, Columbia, UC schools) condemning the Israeli military action and their own universities' responses to the conflict.
5. From Rabbis and Religious Leaders
* Rabbis for Ceasefire: A group of over 300 rabbis and cantors signed a letter to President Biden calling for an immediate ceasefire. Their argument is rooted in the Jewish ethical principle of *pikuach nefesh* (the sanctity of life).
There is one thing the so called good ‘anti’ Zionist Jews could do for Palestine and the rest of us:
Telling us what is it in Judaism or in Jewishness that makes the Jewish state a genocidal collective. But this is the one thing they never do. They instead use every trick in the book diverting the attention from the topic. They suffocate us with wrong terminology. They won’t let us look into the fact that the extermination war in Gaza is committed by an entity that calls itself The Jewish State. They won’t let us examine the fact that this entity is supported by wall to wall Jewish institutions world wide. They will tell us about ‘Jewish ethics’ as if if such a thing exist. In Judaism ethics is replaced by litigation - Torah and Mitzvoth. While ethics teaches us how to make moral judgments, Torah and Mitzvoth teach us to follow readymade laws that mimic the ethical act.
When they run out of arguments they just toss in the air their misleading ‘Zionism is not Judaism’ mantra.
The above slogan is of course a duplicitous to the core, it is there to convey the image that Judaism is somehow ethical while Zionism is a wild cancerous tumor. The truth of the matter is the complete opposite. Zionism was originally aspired by the idea of a ‘state for the Jews’. A state that would fix the Jews and make them new Hebrews, somewhat ethical like ‘all other people’. After this state was founded (1948), this state called itself the Jewish State. It meant that it was both the ‘state of the Jews’ but it was also culturally Jewish as opposed to religiously Judaic. But as years passed by and the population drifted to the right which was really the outcome of identifying as Jews as opposed to Israelis, Israel gradually became the ‘Judaic State’. Its policies are now shaped by rabbis, by Old Testament verses and Halacha/Talmudic laws. The Genocide in Gaza is pushed by the religious segment in Netanyahu’s Government.
If Israel was initially shaped by a battle between Zionism and Judaism , Zionism was clearly defeated and Judaism won. The Gaza extermination campaign is driven by the Judaic spirit of the Old Testament’s homecoming narrative. The Gaza genocide is a materialisation of the most barbaric verses in Deuteronomy.
Accordingly, if Zionism is not Judaism, then Judaism, in its most common interpretation is far worse.
This is the exact truth the so called Jewish ‘anti’ Zionist are there to conceal and in that regard they are not part of the solution, they are the continuation of the problem.
If Jews want to help Palestine, humanity and also their fellow Jews, what they should do is look inside and share with us the tragic truth. Tell us, what is it in Jewish upbringing, culture and religion that bring along the genocidal brutality that we see in Gaza.
It really feels as if the Israeli wakes up in the morning and ask oneself ‘what can I do today to make ourselves hated globally for another 3000 years or beyond ?.. ‘
They are very creative people the Israelis, but they are also notorious for not being able to agree on anything:
Some IDF snipers reckon that shooting on starving Gaza children in the genitalia as they wait for flour bags is the way to go, other Israelis put Oxycodon pills in the US Aid delivered flour bags, they must think this would provoke enough global anger.., Israeli spokespersons believe that spreading the globally debunked fantasy about ‘sex crimes / 40 beheaded babies’ lies on Pierce Morgan will do the job, they are also right, we feel deeply sick when they do that.
Meanwhile the Jewish State starves Gaza to death, the photos of Gaza kids in a devastating state of malnutrition will stay with us forever and will be attached to Jews the way the pile of corpses of Auschwits are attached to Germans. All along the Israeli government does whatever it can to pull the entire region and the dysfunctional English Speaking crumbling empire into a third world war. As if all of that is not enough, IDF soldiers keep peppering the social media with selfies of themselves in female underwear with shredded Gaza as a landscape.
We have to admit that their objective is accomplished, there is now a general cosmic agreement that the level of collective psychotic barbarism brought to light by the Jewish State is something the world has never seen before.
Yet, the absurd is that despite their concerted effort to present the world with the ultimate spectacle of inhumane ugliness they also insist that we must love them the way they are.
The above echoes the scenario of the problematic female partner who misbehaves on a growing catastrophic scale. Yet, the worse she misbehaves , the more she insists that you love her. You, on your part, just comply, you keep being affectionate to her all along while being hurt and annoyed until it lands on you. You then flip, the love which you were pushed to admit is replaced with fury, you are even angry with yourself for letting all of that to happen to you.
We are reaching that point in history with Israel. It finally landed on us all.
When Zionism Became Judaism
Chabad-Lubavitch is one of the largest and most influential Jewish movements in the world. Chabad has more than 5000 centers all over the world. These centers are located in over 100 countries and all 50 US states.
In the light of the above it is fascinating to study the transition of Chabad from being a vocal Anti Zionist Jewish orthodox sect into an ardent Zionist and pro genocide enthusiasts.
Pre 1948
Like most traditional Orthodox (especially Chassidic) Judaism, early Chabad leaders (pre 1948) were strongly opposed to Zionism. They saw the movement as a heretical attempt to replace divine redemption with human political action, led by non-religious Jews.
The 5th Rebbe, Rabbi Sholom Dovber Schneersohn (1860-1920), was a vocal opponent of secular Zionism and the Mizrachi movement (religious Zionists).
The 6th Rebbe, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn (1880-1950), maintained this opposition, viewing the secular Zionist enterprise as spiritually dangerous. In the light of the Holocaust, however, the 6th Rebbe recognised the establishment of Israel (1948) as a ‘practical refuge’ for Jews and began establishing institutions in the Jewish State. The 6th rebbe, before his passing in 1950, also instructed his followers to do everything possible to ensure that territories liberated in any future war remain under Jewish control. This shifted the focus towards the ‘land's sanctity.’
Post 1967
The 1967 Six-Day War was the critical turning point for world Jewry Chabad included. Israel's military victory, including the capture of East Jerusalem, the Western Wall, and Judea & Samaria (West Bank), was seen by many religious Jews, including Chabad, as a profound divine intervention and a step towards redemption.
The 7th Rebbe's Leadership: Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson (1902-1994), who became Rebbe in 1951, embraced this perspective fervently. He saw the newly accessible holy sites, especially the Western Wall, as unparalleled opportunities for Jewish spiritual connection and the advancement of the Judaic cause.
Under the 7th Rebbe, Chabad's support for Israel transformed. Chabad became known for its strong support for the IDF,its commanders and its actions (war crimes included) . Zionism became a core Judaic religious duty based on:
1.Pikuach Nefesh: The supreme commandment to protect Jewish lives against all odds.
2. The Sanctity of Eretz Yisrael: The land itself, especially the liberated biblical heartland (Judea, Samaria, Gaza, Golan, East Jerusalem), was intrinsically holy. Settling it and ensuring Jewish control was a religious obligation tied to the Divine promise.
3. Messianic Fulfillment: The 6th Rebbe saw Israel's existence and its victories, particularly in 1967, as clear signs of the unfolding Messianic process. Protecting and building up the land was preparing for the ultimate redemption.
For him, the difference between a Jew and a Gentile soul was greater than the difference between the soul of a Gentile and an animal.
Yet, unlike most orthodox rabbis in the first three decades of the 20th century, Kook enthusiastically supported the Zionist settlement of Palestine. The Jewish messianic West Bank settlement movement that started to gain power after 1967 has seen Kook as its spiritual and religious guide. Rabbi Kook made a successful effort to integrate Zionism and Judaism into a single Jewish ideology. In rabbi Kook’s view, Judaism and Zionism were a unity. Tragically, this philosophy is now the dominant Judaic philosophy. It was Rabbi Kook who planted the seeds of the transition of Zionism from a ‘Jewish Homeland’ (State for the Jews) into a ‘Judaic State’ (a state guided by Jewish law). The hardliners who dominate Netanyahu’s government such as Ben Gvir and Smortrich are graduates of Rabbi Kook’s philosophy. The settlers who dominate the IDF’s decision making, as well as the criminal materialisation of these decisions, are vastly, if not entirely, followers of Rabbi Kook Judaic school.
What rabbi Kook did in practice was integrating the Talmud, a manual for Jewish supremacy, with the OT’s genocidal ‘homecoming’ tale.
Kook brought to life a misanthropic genocidal ideology. This is the basic Judaic ideology that dominates Israeli politics and military. In this philosophy, there is no dichotomy between Judaism and Zionism. What we see, instead, is a cohesive genocidal amalgam that will be associated with the tribe for many generations ahead.
When The Old Testament and The Talmud are Mixed
The Gaza Genocide is the outcome of the merging of two of the most problematic world religious texts, the Talmud and the Old Testament, into a genocidal political philosophy.
In the above sentence I told you everything you need to know about the current ongoing extermination war on Gaza. If you want to delve into the historical, philosophical and ideological evolvement that led to this horrendous development, be my guest, just keep reading.
The other day I listened to Scott Ritter describing the Gaza theatre as a merging of Iwo Jima and Stalingrad war theatres, two catastrophic WW2 bloody battles for both the USA and the Wehrmacht. In Iwo Jima, the Japanese were fighting the Marines from tunnels. In Stalingrad the Russians were fighting from the ruins of their city.
The Israelis can’t defeat the Hamas, neither above the surface (the ruins of Gaza) nor below it (Gaza underground). The defeated IDF is taking its revenge against the Gazan civilian population. This revenge is now known globally as the Gaza Genocide. It is committed by a state that calls itself a Jewish State with a vast approval of 82% of its Jewish population.
You ask yourself, how is it possible that an entire people have lost their humanity? How is it possible that people who have suffered throughout their entire history are becoming the executioners of the most documented extermination campaign in history?
The explanation is as simple as it is devastating.
In the late 19th century, early Zionists were desperate to liberate the Jews from the Talmud, which early Zionist agitators identified as the core of Jewish diaspora malaise. The early Zionists believed that reinstating the Old Testament (OT) as the new Hebraic primary text would solve the so called ‘Jewish problem’.
What the Early Zionists failed to grasp was that the OT was at least as dangerous as the Talmud.
The (OT) contains some of the most violent lines in the history of literature. The OT is a story about a very problematic father figure, aka God, who is engaged in an abusive relationship with his favourite children. As if this is not enough to ruin the future of his (better) children, he, the Father, also orders them occasionally to commit the most heinous genocides. It is more than likely that the OT’s God wouldn’t survive the ICC once chief prosecutor presents some of the many vile Biblical segments.
Look for example, in Deuteronomy 20:16-18:**
"… in the cities of the nations the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, do not leave alive anything that breathes. Completely destroy them—the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites.”
Or Deuteronomy 2:34
"At that time we took all his towns and completely destroyed them—men, women and children. We left no survivors."
I want to believe that when you read these lines, Gaza comes to mind.
Yet, Early Zionism was a secular movement. It didn’t wish to create a monster, quite the opposite. It vowed to make the new Hebrews nice people. Early Zionists wanted to believe that they diagnosed the causes that made Diaspora Jewish existence into a problem for both Jews and everyone around them. The Early Zionist philosophy was that Jews must transition into a people, a nation, a volk instead of a ‘religious group’ controlled by Rabbis and the Talmud. However, from a Judaic perspective Zionism was an act of heresy. Not many religious Jews were convinced by the Zionist philosophy. Consequently, very few Jews made Aliya before Hitler came to power in Germany.
But there was one Rabbi in Palestine who could see the religious potential in Zionism. Rabbi Abraham Isaac Kook (1865 –1935) became the chief Rabbi of Palestine under the British mandate. Kook realised that Zionism and Judaism were actually complementary precepts.
In line with many orthodox interpreters of the Jewish religion, Kook believed that there was a fundamental difference between Jews and Gentiles.
Cont’
In practice it created a monster, it unveiled and amplified that which Jews worked hard to conceal throughout their entire history, even from themselves.
The Genocide in Gaza is , tragically, the true meaning of the Jewish homecoming. It is the Old Testament’ barbarism come to life through the people who see themselves as the offspring of Biblical Abraham, Moses and king David. The Israelis’ enthusiasm of decapitation of its neighbours’ political, cultural, scientific and spiritual leaders , something they repeat regularly and are very excited about, is again the exact spirit of the Biblical Israelite homecoming. This is precisely what the Biblical Israelites did throughout their entire Old Testament. Maybe, just maybe, it’s time for humanity and Christianity in particular to grasp what the Old Testament stands for and to stay clear of this primitive catastrophic text.
Gaza Genocide is the true Jewish Homecoming
Have you noticed that the duplicitous ‘good souls’ within our ranks have finally stopped spreading the ‘Judaism is not Zionism’ nonsense? With 97% of Orthodox Jews in Israel supporting the Israeli crime in Gaza it is hard to convince anyone that Judaism is all about peace and harmony. With a state that calls itself The Jewish State turning into Judaic State executing an Old Testament’s style extermination war against the indigenous people of the land it is pretty impossible to repeatedly reissue the ‘J innocence card’.
It is probably very painful for some to admit but the genocide that we all witness in Gaza, that death cult that unites the Israelis as a whole (except the very few true dissenting angles), is the true homecoming of God’s favourite children.
That catastrophic crimes against humanity perpetrated by a national army with the wall to wall support of the entire nation, its rabbis and political establishment is the one thing Jews couldn’t do in the Diaspora. As such, the Jewish State has brought to light something Jews have been trying to suppress and even deny throughout their history.
Yet, none of the above is new to the Jews. Here are some fascinating facts in relation to the above. Both Jewish orthodoxy and Early Zionists were fully aware of the Judaic lacking when it comes to ethical core and universal values.
It was Early Zionists’ familiarity with the Judaic take on morality that drove the first generation of its agitators to push for an Hebraic revolution. As I mentioned on this page many times, in Judaism ethics is replaced by litigation (laws - Mitzvoth). The rabbinical Jew doesn’t act ethically he or she ,follow instead, the Mitzvoth that mimic the ethical act. Early Zionism, being a revolutionary movement, was driven by the belief that Jews once in ‘their land’ will reform into a normal nation and ordinary people. For Zionists it was the detachment from ‘one’s own land’ that was responsible for the Diaspora ethical morbidity. The Labour Zionists believed that homecoming and bonding with proletarian and agriculture life would bring about a new ethical Hebraic Jew.
The recycled fantasy about the ‘IDF being the most moral army in the world’ echoes that early Zionist aspiration. The Early Zionists really desired to become moral and ethical but the failure to achieve their goal is by far greater than their initial desire.
Orthodox Jewry also grasped that mixing with the Goyim is a manual for, an unimaginable disaster. The Jewish ghetto, as such, is a condition the Jews imposed on themselves in acceptance of their own detachment from the general universal human ethical trend. Orthodox Jewry had been, and still is, an isolationist perception. It aims to minimise the interaction with the outside world in acceptance that the metaphysical and ethical barrier between the observant Jew and the Goy are unbridgeable. The Jewish Ghetto, as such, is there to save the Jew but also to protect the Goy.
Fascinatingly, both Orthodox Jews and Early Zionists saw emancipation as a disaster event in Jewish history. The orthodox could see that assimilation will bring a catastrophe on the Jews. Hitler proved them right, but Zionists also identified a similar danger and promised to take the Jews away.
The Early Zionist agitator, Max Nordau, argued in the last years of the 19th century that Jewish emancipation was something Goyim did to feel good with themselves. They (the Goyim) welcomed Jews not because they really loved Jews, they loved themselves being tolerant. Nordau predicted that Goyim would regret their liberal enthusiasm. Less than half a century later the Holocaust proved him right. Yet, Zionism that brought the Jewish State along, failed in its prime missions. It promised to solve the Jewish problem, in practice it moved it to a new place and made it into a global disaster. Zionism promised to fix the Jews.
