Halu Chilume Ganga Trek
An easy, offbeat trek just over an hour outside Bangalore, Halu Chilume Ganga trek offers a dose of adventure with its thorny trails and unexplored nooks.
‘Thorn trek’ as we call it at Indiahikes, because of the the thorny bushes along the trail is an adventurous trail that has rocky patches, boulder sections and forest trails, all packed into a short 5 km.
There’s also an interesting temple at the top, with bells on a rock. For the more adventurous trekker, there is an option to explore around on unmarked trails or the caves on the hill.
The trail is pretty easy. You get stony steps and a nice trek through the jungle. A stone ruin can be used as shelter in case of heavy rains.

Kanakapura Camp
The stunning site of Kanakapura camp is huddled next to Hosadoddi lake and Bananthimari forest. There are tons of activities you can indulge in without travelling far from the campsite. You can enjoy swimming, canoeing and kayaking in the lake or explore the concentrated wildlife of Bananthimari hills. Paudhe Se Yaari
If you are a plant parent, we highly recommend you stay away from Paudhe Se Yaari. The only reason we are saying this is if you end up buying all the chrysanthemums, sunsparkler, monstera, and cacti it's all on you. Don't blame us for making you spend on plants that you know you didn't need but needed because your balcony had a bit of space. But honestly, plant parent or not (trust us you'll be converted), you MUST check out Paudhe Se Yaari in Koramangala. Yes, we're a bit weird like that. Maybe it's all the hibiscus sniffing.
The expansive garden store in Koramangala's 6th Block will hook you up with all things garden and garden decor. From plants of all kinds—indoor, bonsai, flowering, and succulents—to garden accessories such as pots and planters, you'll find plenty of things here. The repurposed wooden boat planter in the middle is decor goals. If only we could afford a house that big, at least we can buy our feelings as plants. The staff are well-trained to help you out if you are a noob, plus they also help you with garden makeovers.

Balmuri and Edmuri Waterfalls
One of the most rejuvenating places around Bangalore within 200 km is the combination of two small waterfalls Balmuri and Edmuri Waterfalls. It is located just 3 km away from Mysore city and you can club it with your mini trip to this region.
