As a tip, I have always said one thing - Has the management given guidance/promises in the past and have they managed to execute accordingly? Wabag is not the best in terms of execution but still better than many other managements in general. Of course, there are factors like Covid and real world issues that always get in the way but accounting for all of that, Wabag management has kept a decent pace of execution. We can always look at the history of the top individuals or the general skills / qualifications etc. but the best indicator is have they ever promised something and then delivered. If they have not ever promised something (microcaps may not do concalls) - do they announce when they get deals and then manage to successfully conclude these deals that they get and execute it - get repeat deals etc. In other businesses where there may not be deals and companies maybe too small to do concalls/announcements - look at the quality of their product or their clientele and see how long they have been serving these clients. These are all signs of management quality.

In India we have 'we will hold stocks for ever investors' born every minute. In the meantime, Warren Buffett has average holding period of 4 yrs 3 months and has completely exited 63 pisitions since 2010 while his two designated heirs have average holding period of 2 yrs 10 months and exited 48 stocks. Which also means that they have owned much more than 100 stocks since 2010 Source - https://twitter.com/Iamsamirarora/status/1785911179585683549

According to me, this is not a longer term negative. The management is capable enough to overcome this and come back to a moderate growth path. For those holding longer term, this is possibly an opportunity to add.

2 days old now 🚨RBI takes action on Kotak Mahindra Bank RBI IT department inspected CBS and online banking systems and found frequent outages. As a result, Kotak Mahindra Bank will now cease to onboard customers from online and mobile banks RBI also bans new onboarding of credit cards . Sentimental negative for Kotak. Anyway they are not too big on credit cards, So doesn't make much difference Good move by the RBI. This is a warning to all banks to invest properly in digital infrastructure. On a lighter note, If RBI had visited HDFC Banks net banking Pata nahi kya hota RBI is giving "Shakti" to the entire banking sector
