Angel One - SENSEX orders blocking
Weβre seeing that Angel One has started blocking all SENSEX option orders with the error: βtoken categorized under cautionary listings.β This affects all Angel One API users on all platforms.
This is a broker-side restriction from Angel One and not an issue with our app or APIs. Unfortunately, we canβt override it from our end.
What you can do:
- Please contact Angel One support and ask why SENSEX options are blocked on your account.
- Once Angel One removes the restriction, orders will work as usual in our app.
System Downtime - Today @ 10.30 PM onwards

AT Desktop Client - New version Released
Please upgrade to the latest version (5.0.0).
IPV6 - Compatibility
It is extremely important in immediate future that your broker supports IPv6. Most leading brokers already support it.
- Please ask your broker if Static IP for the API can be IPv6?
- If they do not support it, please ask to implement this on top priority.
Important Notice: Upcoming Broker System Changes
Some brokers are likely to update their systems in the next few weeks. Although, the final deadline is April 2026; the brokers have right to upgrade before it.
We are working actively to adapt our platform to these changes. However, because we cannot update all broker integrations simultaneously, we are prioritizing them based on demand.
What this means for you:
Potential Downtime: If your broker makes an incompatible change, our system may be temporarily unavailable for that specific broker until we release an update.
Action Required: We recommend performing a basic check every morning (such as placing a test order or refreshing your portfolio). If you encounter any issues, please report them to us immediately.

Auto Split quantity issue fix for December contracts
We have decided to implement a change on our side to make sure the freeze limit works for both December & January contracts.
It will be deployed this weekend.
*Important* : Auto split beyond freeze quantity for *December expiry of nifty and banknifty*
As we have changed the freeze limit to adjust for Jan contracts.
Users trading in the December contracts have to manually enter or exit. The TRADE screen has an option to enter manual split quantity.
For December contracts use (split quantity):
Nifty = 1800
Banknifty = 595
As per these recent changes, we are going to make following updates to freeze limit.
Angel one - Issues
We are seeing errors and issues on angel one.
Please speak to their smart api support team or your relationship manager on latest update.

1. There are a number of changes that we will be making to the system to keep it compatible.
2. Many brokers are also changing their APIs for regulatory compliance
Keeping this in mind, it is strongly advised to keep monitoring your portfolio & immediately notify us in case you observe any issues.
NOTE: Change in LOT size & Freeze Quantity LIMIT
As many of you are already aware that starting from January month contracts, lot sizes for some of the INDEX DERIVATIVES are going to change.
1. Our system will show updated lot size as received from broker on the TRADE screen.
2. Users trading beyond freeze limit are supposed to take care of this. You can use manual order splitting or informs us in case of any errors. We cannot make changes to freeze limit as of now because of the different freeze limits for Dec vs Jan onwards.
