Congratulations to Rayhona on becoming a finalist of UGRAD Exchange Program! Rayhona is a second-year student at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy. Rayhona studies Politics in the department of International Relations. Her interests involve economic and market research, finance, investment, business strategy. In the US, she plans to take courses relating to these areas. Rayhona is also a senior volunteer at the Red Crescent Society. In her free time, she organizes charity events in orphanage and similar organizations. Rayhona was selected as one of eleven finalists out of around 600 total participants. Her application was surely outstanding. The exchange program starts in Fall 2021. We look forward to her having an amazing journey in the USA. We congratulate Raykhona Karimova for winning the marathon "Кило Контента". She was awarded a 2-week trip to London and a Mi power bank. All the expenses, including airfare, accommodation, food, will be covered by the program organization, CABAR. The marathon was run among over 200 young journalists, analysts and bloggers in 4 countries: Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan. To become a finalist, Raykhona created content in regard to a variety of topics such as gender equality, climate change and misinformation during the covid-19. She previously attended our essay writing workshops by one of our lead mentors, Rustam. During her stay in London, she will be having masterclasses at BBC and wonderful travel experiences. We are proud of Raykhona's achievement and wish her luck on her trip to London.
