How is Iran War impacting Stock market (specially Oil, Energy companies). A Special read !

For the benefit of those who don't know about these terms, Here is the explanation - FII - Foreign Institutional Investors (These are Foreign banks, mutual funds etc) who have invested their money in Indian stock market. They invest heavily in India. When they start selling stocks in big numbers like what we saw in last week, market goes down, because we will have more sellers and less buyers. Brent indicates the price of Crude Oil. (Raw form of petrol/diesel etc). Brent was 70 Dollars before war in Iran started. It is now at 100 Dollars. When Brent is high, crude oil is costly and everything from there gets costlier - Petrol, diesel, transportation cost. Some of the chemicals that are part of crude oil is used as raw material in Paint industry and other chemicals. If Brent is high, entire chain gets costlier. Ultimately the profits of petrol companies, paint, companies that transport goods from place of production to place of sale - All these companies get into trouble. If petrol, diesel is costly, even bike, car sales will get affected (as customers prefer buying electric vehicles). The crude oil is transported from gulf countries to rest of the world (as well india) through strait of hormuz where war tension is ON. So, Crude oil supply gets affected because of War. Same demand Low supply, Prices of crude oil shoots up! So, One Brent - Many side effects.
