Hanta in hebrew
חַנְטָה (pronounced roughly “chan-tah” or “han-tah”)
In modern Israeli Hebrew slang, “hanta” (חנטה) is a colloquial term meaning:
• A scam
• A lie or nonsense
• Something fake, fraudulent, or “full of crap”
It’s often used dismissively, similar to calling something “bullshit,” “a con,” or “rubbish.”
Example usage:
• “זו חנטה” (Zot hanta) = “That’s a scam / That’s nonsense.”
