Few days back in our GST class, we had discussed that GST Council has allowed Kerala state to levy an additional calamity cess. Today Kerala has passed its Finance Act in which 'Kerala Flood Cess' has been levied at rate of 1% on all goods having gst rate of 5% or above. This Cess is applicable only on B2C Intra State supplies (in Kerala) made by a registered person (other than composition dealer)
