Kids demonstrate the effectiveness of the Roman Testudo (tortoise) formation.
This is the kind of thing children should be learning in school. I didn’t discover anything like this until I started reading historians like John Keegan and Victor Davis Hanson on my own time. Real history, survival skills, maps and navigation, construction and engineering, sharpshooting. How much of our kids’ time would be better spent like this?
Also the poor girl in the front immediately takes a javelin to the face. That’ll teach her not to break formation!

What an outrage! Disney can deport invaders but we can’t?
The woman was reportedly trying to pass off her children as under 2 years old in order to get them into Disney California Adventure for free, TMZ reported. She refused to show her ID.
The kids asking for help is probably going to get a lot of attention directed at Disney.
