Now the question is, what’s the next version gonna be named? Does Snow play it safe and name Canada or Cuba, or full send to Côte d'Ivoire?

ServiceNow versioning be like: Spring 2010, Winter 2011, …, Tokyo, Utah, …, Australia, Brazil, …

Tried Claude Code (can’t remember the model) for the first time today. Mixed feelings, mostly negative. Too chaotic and unreliable for me, at least without additional prompts. Development doesn’t feel like traditional trial and error, it feels more like lottery. With trial and error, every time you fail you learn something and apply it the next time you face a similar problem. With Claude, you just put your resources and effort, and hope it gets the job done. There’s no reward for failure, you (or the model) doesn’t learn anyting from it. At least, for now. Or it’s just a skill issue, I don’t know.

Been scrolling through my old notes/drafts and found my Advent of Code 2025 Overview post that I've never finished. The challange was to solve daily problems using a different language every day for 12 days and briefly review each language and explain how it "feels" to a newcomer. I didn't complete the challange, nor finished the post. But these are the languages I've used during AoC 2025, if anyone is interested: Python, C++, Rust, Lua, Haskell, OCaml, Gleam, Kast, Janet, Factor, Futhark.

Sindarov is the goat!

Do you guys use unified or split diff?

I genuinely hope Claude source code leak is an isolated incident and Anthropic doesn't become another AI slop company like Microsoft.

Worked on a legacy project today for the first time in a while, probably since my Kennekt days. I don't know, there's a certain charm to working on a codebase that hasn't been touched in years.
