Loudly. So the wider questions are why has it taken so long to get into public consciousness, & why were there only a handful of us, (lawyers, nurses, carers), willing to speak out about this at the time? That is a serious question, because if we do not look for answers as to why there was such a culture of silence over such practices, they will simply happen again. I should also raise a caveat about some of this lady's assertions highlighted in this article - I cannot agree in any way with her belief that better PPE might have helped.
