A 10-km Navy Half Marathon was organized on Sunday in Dehradun by the Indian Navy and the Mundoli Riders Club. Vice Admiral Lochan Singh Pathania, the chief guest, flagged off the marathon. Kalem Singh Bisht secured the first position, while Anju came in second. Among the 1,100 participants were students from Doon Defence Academy (DDA), led by Sandeep Sir. To encourage the students, DDA’s Director Sandeep Gupta, Center Head Umesh Kuniyal, Chief Admin Jagmohan Kothari, and PTIs Tarun and Harish were present. The marathon began at Jaswant Ground in Garhi Cantt, passed through Kimadi Road, and concluded back at Jaswant Ground. Participants included personnel from the armed forces, veterans, their families, local residents, as well as cadets from the Indian Military Academy (IMA), NCC, RIMC, and school students. Vice Admiral Lochan Singh Pathania honored all winners with cash prizes.

डीडीए डायमंड करन गौर एनडीए 153 कोर्स के लिए रिकमेंडेड फॉउंडेशन कोर्स "प्रथम पग' व एसएसबी के छात्रों संग साझा किये अपने अनुभव देहरादून। संदीप सर दून डिफेंस एकेडमी के छात्र करन गौर एनडीए 153 के लिए रिकमेंडेड हो गए हैं। डीडीए पहुंच कर उन्होंने फॉउंडेशन कोर्स "प्रथम पग' व एसएसबी का प्रशिक्षण ले रहे छात्रों के साथ अपने अनुभव साझा किये। करन गौर ने इसका श्रेय संदीप सर, डीडीए की फेकल्टी, स्टडी मेटेरियल के साथ साथ और एसएसबी की फेकल्टी को दिया, जहां विशेषज्ञ मार्गदर्शन ने न केवल उनका आत्मविश्वास बढ़ाया बल्कि स्पष्टता और उद्देश्य के साथ उनके करियर की यात्रा का मार्ग भी प्रशस्त किया। वह अपनी सफलता का श्रेय डीडीए में मिले माहौल को भी देते हैं, जिसने उन्हें प्रेरित और ट्रैक पर बनाए रखा। डीडीए की परंपरा के अनुसार करन गौर को एनडीए 153 कोर्स में फ़ाइनल सलेक्शन होने पर कमांडेंट कर्नल सुधीर वर्मा (सेनि) ने 10 हजार रुपये का नगद पुरस्कार प्रदान किया। इस मौके पर डीडीए के सेंटर हेड उमेश कुनियाल व जीटीओ प्रशिक्षक रवि पटेल उपस्थित रहे।

DDA Diamond Karan Gaur Recommended for NDA 153rd Course, Shares His experience with cadets of "Pratham Pag" and SSB Aspirants Karan Gaur, a student of Sandeep Sir at Doon Defence Academy, has been recommended for the NDA 153rd course. He shared his experiences with the students of the Foundation Course "Pratham Pag" and those preparing for the SSB. Karan Gaur attributed his success to the faculty at DDA, the study material, and the mentorship for SSB, he received at DDA. The guidance not only enhanced his confidence but also provided direction and clarity for his career path. He also credits the supportive environment at DDA for keeping him motivated and focused on his goals. Following DDA's tradition, Commandant Colonel Sudhir Verma (Retd.) awarded Karan Gaur a cash prize of 10,000 rupees upon his final selection for the NDA 153rd course. DDA's Center Head Umesh Kuniyal and GTO trainer Ravi Patel were present at the occasion.
