A Message to All DDA Students Dear Students, Your preparation for NDA & CDS is not just about completing the syllabus—it is about consistently testing yourself, identifying your strengths, and overcoming your weaknesses. For this very reason, Mock Tests at Doon Defence Academy play a vital role in your journey to success. It has been observed that the number of students appearing for mock tests has declined recently. Let me remind you: until and unless you assess yourself, you cannot truly measure your preparation. Mock Tests are not a formality—they are the stepping stones towards your final success. 📌 Why Mock Tests are Important? Over the past 3–4 years (especially after COVID), students who regularly attempted mock tests and maintained their rank in the top 50 went on to crack NDA & CDS written exams. Mock Tests give you a reality check of your preparation level. Running away from them means running away from success. UPSC exams are conducted offline, so practice in the same mode is a must. Online tests, too, sharpen your adaptability—both modes are important. Attempting only when you “feel ready” is a myth—no one is ever fully prepared. The secret is to start attempting and improving with every test. Remember, selection depends on both Mathematics and General Studies. Do not neglect one subject while focusing on the other. Yes, you may get fewer marks initially. Yes, you may face failures. But that is exactly the purpose—to learn, to improve, and to rise stronger in the next attempt. Every mock test you attempt adds to your confidence, knowledge, and exam temperament. On 14th September, when you sit for NDA 2 / CDS 2, the practice and discipline you showed in these mock tests will make all the difference. So, take this as a challenge. Make it your aim to attempt every single Mock Test—online and offline. Do not worry about the result, worry only about missing the opportunity to improve.
