A Historic Tribute: Suryakiran Hostel Renamed "Cadet Anjali Yadav Hostel" 🇮🇳 In a deeply moving moment for the entire Doon Defence Academy family, Director Mr. Sandeep Gupta and Deputy Director Ms. Divya Aswal Gupta officially renamed Suryakiran Hostel as "Cadet Anjali Yadav Hostel." Unveiled in front of the Pratham Pag Foundation Course cadets, this tribute honors Cadet Anjali Yadav—the very first girl cadet of Pratham Pag Foundation Course-02—who made history by earning her recommendation for the NDA 157th Course. Addressing the gathered students, Sandeep Sir shared a quiet yet powerful truth: hard work today lays the foundation for a lasting legacy tomorrow. He reminded the cadets that their time at DDA is about more than just passing an exam—it is about building character, proving their dedication, and earning a place among those who serve the nation. He encouraged every student to aim high, knowing that one day, their own name could grace a DDA building to guide the cadets who come after them.

The SAGAR T-Shirt (Merchant Navy Wing): Representing the spirit of courage, discipline, and maritime ambition, this special edition was unveiled by Sandeep Sir and worn by DDA's youngest Merchant Navy cadet—a 17-year-old aspirant stepping proudly into his career. 🌊⚓ The Official TEAM DDA T-Shirt: Unveiled by Sandeep Sir and launched by Academic Head Mr. Naveen Shrivas, this official attire stands as a symbol of unity, pride, and national service across all defense wings. ❤️🤍💚

Honoring Merit & Excellence: Cash Awards Presented to Mock Test Toppers On 15th August 2026, as Doon Defence Academy celebrated the dual historic occasions of India’s 80th Independence Day and DDA's 22nd Anniversary, Founder Director Mr. Sandeep Gupta (Sandeep Sir) reinforced a core institutional tradition: honoring hard work, discipline, and academic excellence at every step of an aspirant's journey. During the anniversary celebrations, DDA held a special felicitation ceremony where over 30 Mock Test Toppers were rewarded with cash prizes for their outstanding performance. The cash prizes were presented by Founder Director Mr. Sandeep Gupta (Sandeep Sir), alongside Commandant Col. Sudhir Verma (Retd.), Pratham Pag Principal Dr. S. K. Arya, Ambassador of Culture & Author Mr. Mukesh Lal, and the dedicated DDA faculty, who all joined together to recognize the perseverance and high scores of our top-performing students.
