My eagerness to clean house so to speak, unfortunately caught up some legit accounts. Telegram has not been eliminating folks, and we are able to get people back on to the channel. However, a month ago I could add people to the main channel but can now only add to the chat at this time. I’m guessing something changed in their latest update. Until I can figure it out, I thank you for your patience! Also, I am not one of those channels who say something like, “I will never send a direct message to you…” I LOVE chatting with you! I do send direct messages and you can send one to me by typing in @thinmint in the search chats box (you’ll see a pic of a goofy stick figure gal for me). I will never, ever ask you what you think of the channel or how long you have been following. That’s not my style. When I do send a message, it will be obvious with personal touches.

Telegram is a pretty cool way to communicate, combining the personalization of a blog and practicality of an online bulletin board, plus it offers an amazing way to connect with others! Some of the issues I’ve encountered here are simply due to human errors. When my comments to y’all disappeared? When one of my admin’s posts disappeared? Fair is fair so I must report that Telegram had nothing to do with this. Of course, the one major drawback are the bots. I love this close-knit community and wish there weren’t so many faux subscribers.

Y’all shared some incredible recipes last Thanksgiving (link below) and I hope you’re up to sharing some more this year as well. One of our Thanksgiving Day traditions is I make cinnamon rolls in between watching the parades with the girls while Felix and the boys start putting up outdoor Christmas lights then our Christmas tree. I recently found and tried a really great way to make cinnamon rolls, which I will share in the comments in the below post. As Felix and I reflect on the months that have passed since last Thanksgiving, y’all are definitely a cheery spot for us. Just under the surface, I was melting on the inside. Yesterday, the 19th was the day my symptoms hit really hard in 2021 so in a way we were glad to be out of town to help distract us from where we were a year ago. Felix and I have been trying to be so brave when we’re feeling so overwhelmed with emotions and memories. We are content just be quiet this week. I hope to share more later.

We traveled to Huntsville for a field trip, and I must let y’all know who live there that your city is lovely. Supper Heroes restaurant has some of the best cheeseburgers we ever had. We visited the Bridge Street mall, ate at Pieology Pizzeria (yum!), picked up some chocolate truffles then enjoyed some live Christmas music outdoors. The twins tutorial set up a visit to the Space Center and we had a fun day there. We’re aware of the Masonry connections and faux moon landing, even so there were some pretty cool things to explore. The planetarium show was breathtakingly spectacular –makes me love God even more! We wrote bible verses on postcards sent to space and on the chalkboards outdoors. And this Publix loving chick got to hit the store twice on the way home (y’all who have Publix know what I mean). All in all, a really fun trip.

Hi friends! Hope y’all had a lovely weekend. I meant to get some posts put up before we headed out of town, however… This trip was different for a few reasons. One was we totally surprised our two youngest with this getaway! This meant trying to pack and get ready without them catching on, and wouldn’t you just know it, those Little Turkeys kept coming out of their rooms the night before we left making life really challenging. This is why Comedy Wednesday was so late :/
